last patch released on a Friday completely borked the game for me, & yet here's another 5pm Friday patch? why not just leave it until the following Wednesday? so people can at least play over the weekend in case there is a serious problem with build unlike last time. -

Gutless? dry your fucking eyes pal, there was a cheap exploit that has been fixed and this is what you died due to, it's been fixed. http://feedback.dayzgame.com/view.php?id=4774 People have been crying about cheating in multiplayer PC gaming for at least oh I dunno how long have you been playing again? has it stopped? No. but to say Dev's don't give a damn about it is ridiculous.

yeah well I've been gaming 30 years or more too and I've nearly 350 hours played in game and hacking is no where nearly as bad as it was in the mod, as the alpha progresses i'd imagine it will get tighter, there is a certain venerability at the minute certain players are exploiting, yeah it's not a great ending when you are killed by such a player but you have to suck it up. instead of throwing a hissy fit.

don't run in buildings. always shoulder a weapon before climbing ladders never log out on a 2nd floor or a steep incline.

once, years ago in the mod over a wee white UAZ i'd spent hours fixing up & a mate stole it. Another of our crew turned up with a Blackhawk & we chased him down and lit him up with m240. He was in TS the whole time saying nothing as it was only a bitta craic for him. I was fecking seething tbh! had to take my dogs for a walk to calm down, where I thought about it and then promptly wised the fuck up, came back and just assassinated him in the lumber yard in Berezino.

sure, it's grand. you forfeit your fleet of foot perk so the game compensates for it, more so in future when weights and exhaustion are added i'd imagine.. they have also fixed dropping the weapon in hand when you sit down, this is the other problem you've experienced, though I thought you lost the weapon if someone else picked it up before the server reset or you logged in again. it might mysteriously vanish yet.. -
