dunno why control panel now seems to think that FXAA isn't available for the game though + there is a new SLI profile all right but It still only works by forcing AR2 from what I can see

but if both scenarios result in the same groupings what odds really? the first would be really important if we were actually holding a weapon with a sight, but we're using a mouse and keyboard, loads of random sway is as annoying if not more so than random bullet spread if you ask me..

what's really the difference though between it being modeled accurately instead of a percentage chance of deviation being added to each bullet fired?

hey good for you, personally I like to turn HRD low and my brightness up full - that's my night vision, I don't touch the gamma setting and for me I really enjoy my night experience. i'm really not that bothered though as all this is now a legacy issue that hopefully will at last be dealt with more satisfactorily with new shaders. fingers crossed.

my point is, it has never been any other way in this game, and doesn't deter those that enjoy playing at night playing anyway in much the same way neither did NVG's or Thermal scopes, no one is forcing you to play in Darkness you can play in daylight all the time if you want? same as no one is forcing you to play with your gamma cranked to the point it looks completely pants. personally one of the simplest things they could do to help with the problem is to simply hotkey all lights on and off to "f" really annoying that you can toggle a weapon flashlight off in your hand, but not on the gun, know what I mean?

doesn't bother me in slightest, I think you'd be surprised at the numbers of people who don't exploit, you don't find everyone gltiching in walls do you?, only wankers, same for gamma exploiters. You're always going to bump into wankers in online gaming, as has always been the case.. *shrugs* i've as much chance being killed by a glitch, someone playing on a potato on all low settings, as I have of being killed by a gamma exploiter, I play loads at night, and i've not been killed yet..

sure it's always been this way, it's only a hindrance in peoples minds - those that use it as an excuse to not play at night ( at least now its not tears like - boo hoo " I can't play at night NVG's!!"... waaaa "I can't play at night thermal scopes". etc etc). Believe me, Dayz has never been better to play at night than it is now, yes it will be much improved when they sort a lot of stuff out, but it's still very playable and really enjoyable too. You haven't played this game properly yet until you suddenly hear Z's footsteps running at you in the pitch dark..

I was in the same situation earlier, but spoke to the person, chatted shit about the game & the world cup coming up, he sorted me out for some kit I was looking for.. then we went on our way, the fan kept everyone chilled no shit hit it at all, wished each other GL and headed on..

There are two kinds of death but only one is deserved.. Let me give you a bit of sage advice to go along with the 2 valuable lessons learned all ready to help ease the pain.. never run down the stairs in the tower of the fire station / from the control room in the air control tower. never log out on anything other than the ground floor and never on a steep inclination never set a weapon down on the ground near trees , if any part of the weapon goes into the tree you will never pick it up again. you can chop bushes down that swallow gear with an axe to reclaim the item. Stay away from the shipwreck at night - you will fall to your death, even in Daylight the prow is lethal, tread carefully.. Never log into the game on the hour / or at half the hour, wait until 5 past or 25 to - trying to log in when servers are restarting does cause character wipes. hope these tips help..
