for the simple reason Gib that the system is exploitable, this is the problem with a "humanity" system, people end up undeservedly with bandit skins as the computer cannot mitigate subjectively, & bandits deliberately exploit hero skins. So at the end of the day, what's the point? the game gives the player already many different ways to communicate intention. Personally I think what it would benefit most from is a means of nonlethal take down to knock a player out for 30 sec's / minute so they can be subdued. It's all about control. -
mobile barrackading system that interlocks using gates held in place by hydraulic rams by the looks of things (no oul sectarian shite please, none was intended with the post)

The castle grounds where I walk my dogs every day is now know to them as "Rog" so when I say " Dog Rog ? " they know they're going for a walk.. -
So farewell then N.E.A.F - i'd imagine that tonight was my last ever shenanigans there before it's reconfigured in the new patch, I don't think it's going to be quite the same fun it once was. I lived up there hunting hoppers for most of last December, knew all my ranges to the ACT from North, South, East & West. & always had a great frame rate no matter where you were. Many a hoppers adventure ended when they though they were all alone and safe on a low pop server. Good times!! (my greatest fear is we're going to run out of good combat aeras for FPS with all the urbanisation that is underway in Chernarus, which will make me a sad panda.

Those type of players were nothing like me son, chances were the people I killed didn't even hear the shot that killed them! i've other reasons for my nostalgia for N.E.A.F - it was where I encountered my first vehicle in DayZ - a pant shitting experience, also were I got my first set of NVG's off a wookie I killed, it's were I got my first camo UAZ. When the spawns moved north east in standalone I walked away from it as it's better days was behind it by then imo.

yeah I know, it's just not going to be the honey pot it once was. the last person I saw at it, was a complete nub I hadn't the heart to shoot & watched them combat log on a zombie that was beating the shit outta them, I just walked away from it laughing thinking adios amigo!

I can tell mine with piccies.. Hit a bit of rubbish at about 90 killing us all.. ^^^ That's me back at my own corpse, I listened to some tears for about half an hour after!!

it's interesting how this thread has been dead for months and still people want to flog this dead horse. though you don't see as many numbnuts now posting "but I wear a mask and imma hero" in fact you see way fewer people having the balls to wear masks anymore as the penny is starting to drop that people KOS clown masks. The stance thing has no merit because it's a machine that is the arbiter as to who is what. The game is best the way it is, fraught with tension every encounter. Thread should of been yarded beards ago, more so now for being necroed. -

mine crashes since the .45 patch when I close the game, not when i leave the server and my system is water cooled, before some start talking a load of oul guff about temps.. -
have had a marathon gaming day today, first time in months i've been able to give Dayz a couple of good couple of hours rounds and I can't find a single .45acp round, apart from 7 that were in one mag that I found. .22 & 9mm coming out my ears even .357 speed loaders but no .45acp - anyone else finding the same? seems to be a great dearth of Axes as well, should you not be able to find them in barns, industrial, police stations etc etc? could only find 2 badly damaged in 2 fire stations.
