Where is the best place to find a sniper rifle?

Crash sites your going to find weapons like Bison and FNFAL. I don't think I've ever seen a sniper rifle spawn at one. Tents aren't just going to pop out in front of you. Check the northern areas and anywhere else that seems logical. -

I spend alot of time searching tents. For the time it takes to loot around you can score all your gear in one stocked tent. -

Out of boredom/curiosity I've been keeping an eye on some of the more well known hack/script sites that advertise hacks for dayz and noticed this past week many, many threads about global bans so it looks like BE is making a good effort. Unfortunately a few of the hacks are back operating again and I expect the rest won't be far behind so it was a short lived victory but a step in the right direction at least. -

Battleye isn't the problem the game engine design is. It has more holes then battleye could possibly hope to stop much less slow down.

Agreed, The hackers will be less but still exist. The comment I was referring to was more of the "The game will be hack free" which is false. I hate those dicks as much as anyone but I'm also smart enough to understand they aren't going anywhere.

If you think once the stand alone is released hackers will seize to exist you my friend are brain dead. Every game ever made has been hacked. I'll give them 24 hours to hack the stand alone and that's probably a conservative estimate..

Nothing at all can be done while this game is being run on the arma engine. That's a fact so either quit playing or play on a low pop server.

My main weapon of choice is the M4A1 CCO SD as primary to get rid of zeds and close players without attracting attention then the FAL cause it sounds bad ass and punches holes through everything. Sniping I prefer the DMR or sometimes if I'm lazy the AS50.
