Not every one who avoids Cherno/Elektro are dupers or whatever your getting at. Most veteran players avoid the south because the action is up north. Only thing you find south where the spawns are is noobs and spawn snipers, No thanks. I bet you wouldn't last 10 minutes in Stary or NWAF where the real killers live so I would disagree that living up north is "easier". -

If you're standing there with a g17 and get attacked by a guy with a much better weapon it makes sense to find cover and possibly get out of there. That doesn't make you a coward by any means. Smart maybe but not a coward. -

99% of the bandits I've come across are 100% cowards. Either kids shooting fresh spawns or vets alt+f4 as soon as a shot rings out. Bandits my ass. FYI: A real bandit will engage in combat without hesitation and fight to the death. -
Make a note of that server and stay away from it. There's plenty of others to choose from.

I tried shooting down trees with a tank in arma2, No joy. Ran them over just fine though. Maybe call a local tree service to take it down for you? :)
