    Holsters Can HELP!!!

Hopefully rocket can see the significance behind such a feature for day. In Arma it doesn't matter, there are two distinct sides. There is no reason to holster or sling a weapon other than realism. Dayz on the other hand can greatly benefit from it. I imagine for example in some situations, people will tell new comers to holster their weapon or risk being shot etc.

    Holsters Can HELP!!!

Yeh I actually didn't mean PVP, I think you guys understand though, because this doesn't deal with PVP it would deal with more of a...social aspect? Just said PVP didn't know what else to describe it as. Edited it though. I think lowering the weapon doesn't give the full effect as a full holster or sling.

    Holsters Can HELP!!!

I think Rocket should add holster for pistols and the ability to sling your rifle to your back. Not only is this realistic, this can HEAVILY help the game. For a lot of the "Good" players, it's hard to tell if a person is hostile or not. Obviously skins are gone, and was also a tad stupid. I think Rocket made a good choice. But the problem remains..a lot of times two "Good" players meet, that meeting is very tense, because all you see is someone pointing a pistol at your face. A lot of times "Good" on "Good" meetings end badly. You can easily deescalate the situation if both parties had the ability to holster their weapons as you would in real life. It could also leave the table open for some fun quick draw situations for the PVP'ers out there....so it's still all fun. It's such a simple feature, that can help balance the game, all while maintaining realism and the "hardcore" feeling to the game. I believe this should be on the list for planned features, there's already mod out there that apparently do it.

    Can't Install OA

I reformatted my computer, and everything went great. Arma 2 however is having problems. Well actually Arma 2 installs great, operation arrowhead does not however. For some reason when I try to install OA, all the options are greyed out when I click the autorun button. I see the install button etc, but it wont let me click it. I had it installed before this, why is it all greyed out now?? ehh
  6. Does anyone have a server or a list of US servers that I heard have alternative time cycles? Meaning the US server can change it to follow a different time cycle somewhere else? I don't like joining EU servers being that I don't like hogging their space, nor do I like the ping. I work full time, and every time I play, it's completely black out. Night Vision or flashlights are quite hard to find being so dark. While I like the night mechanic, and even after turning the gamma up etc, I just want to enjoy the beautiful day landscapes this game has to offer. That is the main thing.. Any listed servers would be appreciated for us people that work full time!
