I'd need a steady supply of motion sickness pills or to quit playing...as no matter what I do with the settings I get motion sick in first person all the time, short stints no problem, long runs I need a bucket. Would I quit playing probably not, would it limit my playing time to nearly pointless, Yes definetely. (btw this is the only game that gives me that feeling in First person, so maybe has to do with a graphical quality)

Private is way better anymore...maybe with SA this will all be a mute point though.....(please let it be a mute point)

I still have my 9800GTX + in my second (spare) gaming rig it runs awesome just wish I could upgrade the CPU in it damn AMD and their triple core crap (good then bad now) I have an Gigabyte 6990 currently in my rig and I find it works great I OC'd it a tiny bit to keep a steady 60 FPS on DayZ but other than that stock setting I never dropped below 50FPS with it...

I bet it's popular in Hawaii ("Spam Hammer" that is)

Rooneye I've heard so many people say RAMDISK and it just doesn't work...short of an upgrade there's not much you can do. The standalone may be a different story however, but from my expieriences in DAYZ nothing short of a good CPU/GPU combo seem to work for higher frame rates. I run an AMD 8150 @ 4.2Ghz and a gigabyte 6990 I get 60FPS constant (unless ping is over 180). I've tried various laptops and older CPU's and just seem to max at about 30-45 on the newest of those systems. I actually have 5 working computers, and 3 laptops at my disposal so yes I do alot of expierementing with RAID and RAMDISK and other things to test options to up my main gaming computer. I hope that you find an answer but unfortunately if none of the previous suggestions work I doubt anything short of an upgrade will help.

Really Ive never had an issue contacting dotjosh and he's always been very professional when asked a question. Searching the FAQ's is a typical response from any mod though. Sometime's it takes time to filter through everything that's why I said to search her for dotjosh and you can IM him he should reply at his earliest convenience. Remember mods/dev's work and have live's too.

I'd love to see things like duck/goose blinds and civilian camo clothing for hunters maybe a hunter orange vest and hat. Deer stands are fine, I'd like to see more hunting caliber (30-06, .270, 30-30, .308) rifles instead of military rifles, (even though I like the military rifles better).

I'm trying to play on namalsk and I keep getting an error it says that NS_plants is missing...not sure what this is anyone know?? Help is appreciated. EDITED: Reinstalled Namalsk files, turned of "launch with steam" on options for Dayz Commander, No problems.

Greatest moment comes when you have a gun and a bandit has a gun..who is faster on the mouse button...until then it's exciting scrounging through every open building to find 1 makarov and 200 clips for it...to learn that it takes an entire clip to kill 1 zed and the sound draws in 15 more.

It would add more depth to the game and make it a bit more interaction based. I could see huge gunfights for a boat off cherno just to end up in a zed infested lingur...fast travel would be a must though....

Sounds like a fun game..I prefer stalking though..i like to follow people around or just hangout in a high traffick area out of the way n watch people play...

I agree I'd love to see larger maps, much like an MMO where you can roam to different climates and be affected by weather. You get :beans:

I have kids and I'd have to go to prison for killing them if they caused me to die, my dog barks at the random leaf on the tree, my heater kicks on and the fan is loud, people knock on my door and ring the doorbell. I have very loud flatulence, Tourette's, my tv works Dayz's doesn't... Do you really wanna listen to people fap? Should I continue?

I'd get both the Standalone is supposed to be around $15 (us) so it's pocket change either way. And you get ARMA II which is alot of fun on it's own.

Rocket said work on the mod will continue even after the standalone come's out. I think it will be more community based.
