I get more lag the more I die and respawn, a complete system reboot fixes the problem most of the time though however your CPU is somewhat weak considering this game is very CPU heavy I've heard... Might be the issue.

Growing up in Sweden close to a forest I've had my fair share of walking in dark forests and while it's damn fucking superdark some nights you are still able to see quite a bit once your eyes get used to the darkness. Problem is that is now how the game works.

Still got the FPS issue in 1.5.8.4 ~15-20 fps XFX HD 5770 1GB OC AMD Phenom II x4 965BE 8GB ram. SSD Intel 330 120GB Every respawn I get worse FPS.

Sounds like it could be great with some tweaking yes.

Specialization of sorts, awesome. Classes, terrible. EDIT: Things like editing clip size is completely stupid as its not like you can push more bullets into a mag. Increased blood, quieter movement, faster consumption etc. etc. are good things though.

Okay so I did archery for ~7-8 years and I can tell anyone that argues about finding arrow if you miss... It's hard as shit! And that was with arrows using bright red feathers. Takes anywhere from 10 minutes to 30 minutes if you know exactly where it went and a bolt would be the same (or maybe even harder). Also would very likely not pass through the body the head is quite broad. However you should be able to carry with you a huge amount of arrows/bolts, I usually had 10 arrows with me when shooting and I could easily fit 25-35 in my quiver without problem, bolts are a bit larger so perhaps 20-25 in a normal sized quiver. And sights are usually scope type on both tactical crossbows as well as hunting crossbows. Great example of a g cheaper type of crossbow: Tac crossbow:

I could agree having some part of the map with radiation where you don't wish to stay for too long... However it might be a bit overkill...

I think I read somewhere that he's already working on the skins so adding effect to them is probably not hard.

Bought game only for this mod as well and many of my friends are thinking of doing the same. Wish I could pay DayZ team instead of BI.

Sounds like a bug but is more realistic than the current "correct" ways of doing it as finding wood and starting a fire literally takes me 2 minutes if I'm out in a forest myself so I doubt a survivor would have more problem.

Hopefully it works decent after 1.5.8.3. 1.5.8.2 was a bit too extreme as you didn't gain heat from sunny weather.

I still enjoy a variety of games yet DayZ is extremely fresh and it feels like the first fresh air I've breathed in years.

I really hope rocket sees this topic, best idea imo.
