This, imo 2016 was the worse year in whole dayz development. Looking forward to play the game when it`s done, but jeeze you guys take ages, i lost hope tbh.

Seriously funny seeing a dozen people talking about doors. Just a reminder, we waited 3 years to get doors that are not penetrated by zombies, yet we don't even have zombies in game atm. Are you really sure talking about getting door mechanics, is the thing you want to discuss here?

That is why the game industrie forms into a massive pile of shit, consumers that eat any pile and then feel entitled to tell those who demand to shut up. Please don't tell me the game "is amazing as is" when there is constant character/car resets. Basically nothing is working like it really should. The mod is more playable. I was with you fanboys all this time but now i have to step back and reflect what they achieved. For me that is not enough i have to say. If it's good enough for you that is your opinion, bro :D

Sadly we still have character resets and car resets. This seems entirely random for both of these bugs and are persistent since the hyped 0.61 update. Am really bored about DayZ and the patches they introduce. I was hoping for a speed-up in development since the enfusion renderer was finished. However we still have the same crap game we played at day one in SA. A buggy pile of shit that eats cars and characters. -
As far as i know you can query the servers player names without steam. So the function of "P" is still there like it used to be. Not removed for steam. However i think there is little benefits from banning the playerlist for the users. The only real problem back then was the bandwith. You could see if anyone got the same bandwith, if they do they where close to your position. So am for the playerlist ingame, however it should be optional as a server option. Let us choose from "display names/ping/playernumber". So we could only display the player number or the names with it if we want.

45 days on tents is awesome, however corpses aka death players gear despawns too quick imo. Is there any chance we get a higher despawn timer on character corpses that have just died?

Well they should have enough ressources by now. I think about 60 people work on DayZ atm when i remember correctly. And the ingame radio stations are indeed still planned like you said, atleast i also believe they are :) About not enough streamers that might be true right now with a daily playerbase from around 5-10k. But with new updates and old numbers back to 30-50k players we could have enough streamers i guess. Tbh i would make a radio station for U4G. This was planned back then and i almost bought a web radio license. However either way, sounding like shoenice here lol, i would also love to make an ingame radio show. The problem with ingame radio is that only one server can hear it. And then professional web radios will not bother and it would be eventually a feature not used very often. Tbh we should make a petition to bring back the old idea from real web radio stations being broadcasted to the game :)

Actually it is not a ingame station. The radio stations am talking about are entirely outside the game. Think of a podcast radio or web radio that will get streamlined into the game. There even was an application back then. You must have a radio station license and apply for a radio. So it would be not like you described a total mess :).

My guess is network issues, the server and client are not synced right then things like this happen.

The best PC can't prevent the network issues that currently kill people walking on flat surfaces for example...

Not sure why you add especially this to the already massive wall of text, it could have made it bit more compact without these "suggestions" obviously already in development and i maybe would have read the text then XD -

Also try starting DayZ. Then you open the task manager. Go to DayZ and right click it. Choose "go to process". Rightclick the process and choose priority and set it to "high". This gives me about 5-15 more FPS

Maybe the ram is getting filled after a time. Close all programs running in the background that may cause it.

A few people reported this now so i guess it actually is a bug. It is very unlikely that someone sniped him on a server with 4 people connected, however its possible.

We still have bugs that kill you instantly when walking on roofs, because of rubberbanding etc.. They just need to fix these bugs not building a workaround. And no fall damage would be a pretty terrible workaround imo.

Direct display of kills is not allowed. What can be done is giving your players certain badges that indicate how many they killed ;) EDIT: when these badges are part of your server rules ofc :D

Just make it a option for server owners, imo there is no reason not to. And ignoring minorities is not always a good idea ;)

Since the start the DEV team works on making the world more unique and different from the arma look. My guess is that they also work towards degradation of citys and overgrowth. There are actually some areas where they tried something like this. For example north-north east from chernogorsk, there is also a crashed car on that road.

Yes, but all you described pretty much is a result of the game being in alpha development. When we now start to add features just because the game is not finished it will never be finished. All problems described with the current game is not about the lack of features but how they are implemented or because they are simply not finished. Thats also the reason why Dean Hall stopped the development of the Animal companions, it was a feature that was not ready to be even touched because of the generall state of the game.
