    Found one in Stary Sobor yesterday, drove around the airfield for a while. It's not a nice vehicle, difficult to turn. Is it supposed to have inventory space, by the way? I thought I saw a view contents option when I first got in, but couldn't find it afterwards.

    IRL your eyes adjust to darkness. Yes, you can't see as well, but you can make out shapes of trees and bushes. It's not completely black most of the time. When the Moon is out it's really easy to see.

    I guess it would be cool if your stuff moved with you, but then when you logged off it couldn't be found or raided. Also, sharing things would be difficult. So they could either have servers that function like private hives: tents/bases persist on the server, separate character. Or they could have half-persistent servers like the vanilla mod: public character, but tents/bases tied to the server. The way sharding works in most MMOs, is the first option, isn't it?

    Wow, that would really make the containers even more valuable than they are now. Now they just extend your carrying capacity because they take up 4 spaces and hold 6.

    The 1.8 update is great, keep the changes coming. The new inventory system is my favourite, makes it a lot easier to switch weapons.

    This is happening to me as well. So damn annoying! Sometimes it goes down when I join, sometimes in the middle of the game. Never happens when playing other online games.

    Having your chopper leak fuel because of a cracked windscreen is really silly. How the hell are you supposed to find and move 6 windscreens?

    Someone finding or duping a bunch of satchel charges and then blowing up the fire station is plausible. But all the bodies being there means it was either a hacker who spawned them there before blowing everything up or some sort of mass cult suicide.

    It's kind of possible to do that with NVGs and the L85 which has a laser. So you could toggle the laser to say that you're friendly. Problem is, it reveals your position to any hostiles that have NVGs as well.

    Thanks for the suggestions. I'll try using the leaning method with my group. Can't really see face skins at a distance. You wouldn't be able to see squad insignia on uniforms either even if they had them.
