Hey guys! Post your best hero stories! Feel free to post videos of you killing bandits!

I'll share one. I was playing solo, I normally do not do this because I am a very paranoid person. I was near balota and I see a squad of guys sneaking around by the hangars. (This was a custom map so Balota had barracks) I am prone in trees watching these guys letting them loot and get out of there. Next thing I know I hear a sniper shifting trying to get better eyes on the survivors trying to loot. I thought about just getting up and running away. I did not want to risk death. I started thinking these guys will get killed. I quickly popped off a few shots near the survivors looting to get them running so the sniper can't shoot them. I flank around the sniper and kill him. The survivors got out of there, and I left with a nice DMR. I told the survivors what happened and they thanked me. This was one of the best moments in Day Z.

Relax relax! Stand Alone is coming out. If you're playing on a public server, you are just asking to get script killed.

Hey guys. Ever since I have played Day z, I have been nothing but a bandit. I shoot first and ask questions later. Now, I have seen people on Youtube who play differently, they get their mic and tell them to drop their weapon. It looks so much more fun than just killing some poor player even if he is hostile. I want the public's opinion on my decision. Is it a good choice or bad?

Tried it. Met a few survivors but could not actually play together. (assholes in Cherno keep killing em leaving me alone :l)

Any weapon is good for me. You can give some noob the M4A1 CCO SDD and he can't hit shit. While you give an experienced player a crossbow and kill many people and zeds. A man with experience even with the makarov scares me.

Day Z is one of the coolest mods I have played! I absolutely enjoy this game! We all know Day Z has its ups and downs, but in the end, I love it! Now I have countless reasons why I love Day Z, but I also have many problems with the game I do not like. Things I love! 1.The size of the map. This map is by far the biggest I have seen in a video game! You can be on a 50 player server and STILL you will not find players everywhere like most games. 2.The people you will meet. Either by encountering each other, or meeting someones end of the barrel. The controversial part is the best! Some shoot on sight, some try not to kill. Some bandits have an honor system, do not kill the unarmed, and some don't give two shits whether it is someones five year old little sister playing this game for the first time. 3. The guns. The way they look, the bullet drop, the sounds of it, I feel like a bad ass whenever I gun down someone with M4A1 CCO. 4. The zombies of course! You see a can of beans and you are just dying to taste those delicious beans, you move forward to get them and BAM! A Zombie see's you and you have to run, next thing you know the whole horde is after you! The zombies obviously are the biggest part of the game 5. Last but not least, night time. Probably the coolest time to play Day Z. This gives the game the sense of fear that Day Z should always have. Running through the forest at night, hoping not to cross with another player or zombie! Things I do not like 1. HACKERS!!! I can not tell you how many hours I have put into a life and then randomly spawn in the middle of the ocean falling to my death, losing hours and hours of game play. Hackers are everywhere and seem to get by no problem. 2. The zombie animations. You finally break the zombies line of sight and you managed to run into a little house, next thing you know zombie just phases through the wall with their awesome powers. 3. The backpack (sometimes). You find an awesome gun but you just can't pick it up because you don't want to leave your weapon that is in your hands. Well okay, lets put it in my backpack, you do and sometimes, its not there! How much of a pain is that! 4. Tents, you'll stash all your rare and important gear in this tent, you come back and you managed to get all your gear out and what the fuck, you can't pick up your tent sometimes. 5. The servers, I love this game, but atleast 50% of the time I spend at least fifteen to twenty minutes searching for a decent server.

I feel like they should fix the humanity system. I find it aggrivating when I kill players and my humanity slowly rises up to 2500 hundred again. Let bandits be bandits.

That would be quite fun...but the hackers will ruin it all.....

After playing Day Z for two and a half weeks now, I feel like it is time to experience the game from another perspective. Joining a clan who is on regularly! The more fighting to survive the better right? Message me if interested! :rolleyes:

Doesn't matter what side. Bandit or not. I am willing to join. I do not kill if someone is unarmed.

Try going to the filter option, select one of the team objectives and Takistan Life server should come up.

So, I have some really tough times trying to find players in Cherno and Elektro. I have only played two weeks and I want to murder people! Just the thrill of hunting and finding other survivors makes this game a blast! The only issue is, I am not very good at pvp. Every time I get into one of the cities, I get nervous and I wait in one general area because I am too afraid to move in the center of the city. If anyone has some tips that would be great! I know i'm not the only one who is nervous about fighting other players, so let this be help to more than just me! :rolleyes:

Killing other players in Cherno does get you good gear. Trust me, I made this post so that way people can come by and get tips, not to get harassed and bored while douche bags come in and label everyone COD players just because they want to experience fighting other players in a really cool game.
