I hate when people compare this game to COD/battlefield. Totally different game. if anything its more like Wolfenstein or Quake

I do not believe that the private servers share info with the main hive. Unless the companies that we rent the servers from are passing along the info to Rocket and his team. Also. Saying the Alpha has failed is false. Most would say that the alpha was successful. How you ask? In roughly 2-3 months we will be starting a new Alpha with the release of the standalone. if this current alpha was such a failure I highly doubt we would be approaching the release of the standalone's alpha.

Our current server is set on the Cherno map, but in a few days it will be converted to a private hive Lingor server. Pretty sure Cherno has about 50 vehicles that can spawn on the map at one time..Also according to Dayzdb the atv can spawn up to 15 times.

Last night I was playing on my favorite server. Went to a massive camp that I had located a few nights before. We looted it. SHortly after looting it we heard a chopper coming to our location. We got the fuck out. The people in the chopper landed at the camp and blew up the chopper killing all the tents. Shortly after I experience my first Thunderdome. I left immediately then log into a different server to escape the scripters. After getting to a safe location above the thunderdome I logged back into the now empty server. Discovered a massive battle arena. Once you were in you couldnt get out. The arena has two zombies hung with a noose around there necks. also surrounding the arena were bleachers. coordinates for this arena are. 104-04. Its a little off the map. directly below the arena is a camp site with about 5 tents. If you are curious and in the area Id check it out. The server is Ca 16 Also I will upload some pictures tonight once I am home.

I would restart my server and have it all come back! then take stuff from the tents and reset it again!

^this.. if any admin was cheating/were to cheat it would be me.. Also thank god were getting off the official Hive.. What a joke that was! Now we can actually take matters into our own hands and punish the players responsible for ruining the fun for legit players. Also this guy sounds smart! Of course if only a handful of people are on the server at the time it happeend then it must be the admins!

From what Rocket said we will be able to use melee attacks in the standalone. So lets hope we will have more melee weapons available. I'd also like to see sword/bats added as well. or atleast the option to switch to your axe without having to putting your gun in your backpack/throwing it on the ground.

^ this says it all. Themachine is a bad troll. If anything when you go into an armory their should be 100's of the same rifle and 1000's of rounds/clips of ammunition for each gun. Also if a military outpost gets out run. you will find tons of weapons/ammunition at that location along with military vehicles. I believe in the standalone if you kill a army zombie or see dead military personnel on the ground you should be able to take his gears. Also if a zombie kills a survivor he should come back as infected/zombied. Walking around with the gear he was wearing/carrying at the time of his death. That way a player can kill the said infected/zombie and take his/her gear. None of this body laying on the ground with fly's flying around it bulshit

I typically yell friendly to other players as a distraction before I end up killing them and looting/Hiding there bodies.... Last night on lingor we lured some people to the prison under the assumption that we were friendly and wanted some extra help farming the prison's 4 barracks. We were really greatful that they were willing to stop off at a hospital to grab us some supplies before we ambushed them enroute and set fire to there vehicle afterwards. Great story? I dont think so.. In a world of death and sorrow, where everyone is fighting for that last can of beans. Dont trust people you dont know. Everyone has there own agenda.

Not sure how it takes you four hours to gear up.. in the first 20-30 minutes I usually have a compass backpack foods/drinks and an ak at the very least. As for hackers. Myself and the small group I play with have had very minimal run in's with hackers. I'd tell you to play on a smaller population server, but we play on full servers all the time and never/hardly ever have any issues. Maybe try playing on private hives? unlike the official hives they have extra precautions put into effect as well as admins that can actually use the power they have to safe guard the server they pay for! Down with the official hive!

So these people are your friends in R/L? and they wont let you play with them eh. Sounds like you may be a little bitter. Also if they are your R/l friends then it really shouldnt be that hard for you to gather the evidence you need to expose them

I wouldnt want you playing with my group and I either if I knew you were just going to rat us out. maybe change your name? try and get friendly with them? Walk the walk talk the talk. I am sure they will eventually trust you. Then once you have gained that trust!! stick a dagger in there back and contact the server admin and get them BANNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! although I think you are a douche for making this thread like anyone cares.

I havent seen/heard any slenderman, But one time when a friend and I were farming the NWAF we decided to head out to Green mountain to check for the ATV. It started out as any normal long distant run. I initiated my auto run and headed south west. Almost immediately after we hit the mountain we could hear some strange howling. We thought maybe it was some players over the ingame communication. As we got closer to the compound we could hear OINKS! I went afk in a tree to use the washroom, my friend went on ahead. he climbed the tower and saw what he thought was a player wearing a hero skin. My friend asked if he was friendly. The player stood with his back towards my friend for a good minute, all while my friend kept asking if he was friendly. a moment later the hero spun around. To my friends surprise the players face and hands were of that of a pig! he let out a screaching OINK!!!!!!!!!! so loud I could here it through my headphones from the washroom. My friends character fell to the ground broken legs/knocked out and bleeding. All of a sudden he can see his screen changing. The Herobrine like creature was dragging his body into the tower. Once he regained consciousness the herobrine was gone! Tags were on for this server and I believe my friend said his name was Steve.

Obviously these are some underprivileged American youth looking for a better life.. Looks like they found it in the mud! United states army*** bahs whats the difference!

really? I guess everyone is duping canteens along with hunting knives/axe/matches/cow meat these days? Pretty sure not dying from starvation/dehydration was and is the same it was before the duping.

People who claim to be insta killed numerous times a day are liars/over exaggerating. I have been playing this game for three months on both low population and High population servers. Myself and my group have had only a hand full of instances when we were teleported or auto killed. Claim we are lucky all you want, but eventually your luck will run out. It happens to you once or twice and you come to the forums and read about it and all of a sudden you start saying it happens everyday (omfg I cant even log onto a server without some hacker teleport/falling everything to there death) If you keep telling yourself a lie sooner or later you wont know what is true and what isn't.

two weeks ago when they launched the .6 patch our server got smacked pretty badly by a script kiddie that decided to teleport/hide all of our vehicles.. Since they we havent had a single issue with our server. bare in mind that our server never exceeds 20+ people at a given time. People can claim that hackers only target full servers, but I refuse to believe that. I have only experience first hand two incidents that involved hackers and that was on a server that only had two of my friends plus myself and three other people. Dont fool yourself into think that you are safer on low pop servers. If they want to Fuck with you they will.
