just boot camp your mac.. works a treat. Im what most would consider a pc nerd.. i know lots about pcs, and i own a macbook. i have a gaming pc for games, everything else i use a mac for. The os is smooth, and doesnt eat battery life.. i get 9 hours on mac os, boot into windows and i get an hour and a half..

everyone shoots people the find.. its dayz, ive never found a friendly player.. i light everyone up.. i like my gear.

ok this has probably been suggested numerous times. But id like to be able to give myself blood transfusions. Ive never met a friendly player.. infact i never get within 100m of another player without them killing me. Person that shot me earlier probably had a field day as id recently looted a hospital so was full of blood packs and stuff :(

i spawned next to a zombie with no items! i got hit straight away, and had nothing to heal myself. I updated to the latest patch when it came out yesterday.. bit miffed, but oh well i was bound to get shot by someone sooner rather than later.

I was rather cuffed yesterday as in one building i found a gillie suit, a cyote pack, some badages, and a couple of guns. I then decided to find a nice deserted place to stop and exit the game, upon starting today, i still had my gillie suit and my cyote pack, but it was almost empty, i only had some ammo and a crossbow bolt. I then almost instantly got attacked by a zombie in the middle of nowhere, and then died shortly after... so goodbye gilliesuit...

i went on http://www.battleye.com/download.html and downloaded the top file (same even if you run 64bit os) and then manually placed that in my battleye folder within arma. I then ran six loader, and went tried to join a couple of servers, both of which installed a small amount of data, and since then ive had no issues joining any server i try.

I meant only dead players spawn together, then you all have the same items so killing one another would be pointless. It would even be an aid if you could just punch, as these are infected not zombies (doesnt need head shots) so injuring one is possible. And real world simulation? Im sure if a zombie apocalypse, id be able to find a kind of weapon, where ever i am at the time. I think it would be easier to find a blunt force truma weapon that it would be to find a rucksack, pain killers, bandage and a torch! I like most rural people own firearms.. even if you had a 12 bore over and under shotgun. would be impossible to kill other players at a distance of more than 30 yards, and its very clumbersome to reload in a hurry. And im sure id be able to round up a friend or two i could trust (family ect). Just my take, doesnt mean im right or your wrong ^_^

Hi guys, been playing the game for a few days and im hooked! I am finding the game a little difficult (as the learning curve is high and i haven't previously played arma2) Id like to see group spawnings, like 2-4 players at the same location, would be pointless killing each other as you'd all have the same items, and it would encourage team play. Id also like to start with a basic weapon, even if its something like a screw driver, or just throwing tins of beans! its just that on several occasions ive been looting and turned around to find a zombie had followed me into said building and im stuck as they are in the way of the door, and ive no choice other to let them kill me, or lay down in another room and hope the go away. Even if is as simple as being able to pick up a log off the floor, or a rock to smash skulls. Dayz is the zombie game ive been dreaming of since resi when i was a child, so thanks guys and keep up the great work!
