WarZ has a better atmosphere than DayZ. It really looks and feels like you are in a zombie survival movie but that is about where it ends. DayZ has a lot more depth to the gameplay, the inventory management, injuries, and the pvp. WarZ is just DayZ lite. After a few hours I really wanted to go back and play DayZ but stopped myself because I just don't want to deal with the rampant hacking anymore. Oh well, I will play WarZ until the DayZ standalone comes out.

I use the term "Bigfoot" not in a literal sense but a figurative one. I have seen many stories rooted in superstition and hearsay of a creature that spawns in the northern forests in the dead of night. A dark and terrifying bloodthirsty creature materializes out of the gloom and attacks. This is already a legend that players whisper in hushed tones around the campfires at night. Lets make it a possibility. So here it is. Anyone else think it would be cool to have an ULTRA RARE (And I mean ULTRA RARE like 1:100,000) spawn of a supernatural creature (that fits into the DayZ vision). That spawns in the most remote woods only at night and attacks those unlucky enough to come across it? After its kill it will immediately retreat into the woods and despawn in order to keep it rare. Allowing only a handful of survivors to ever encounter it throughout the life of the game. The "Bigfoot" legend of dayZ is too cool to pass up. What do you guys think?

My group and I ALWAYS attempt to rob/kidnap people without killing them if possible. If they fire at us they usually die. One of my favorite memories was kidnapping 2 new spawns and forcing them to be our minions they really jumped into the role and really astonished me with their bloodthirstiness. We gave one a makarov, and the other a double barrel sg to help us rob people. The next guy we robbed dropped all his gear and got on the ground like he was told, then our minions just ran up and emptied 2 slugs and a makarov clip into him after he was disarmed and prone. I was like "WTF! We were just going to rob him!" they were like "He had it comin!" My group was like "lol." Funny shit being a bandit. People surprise you.

Random spots on maps that if you step on you get attacked by yellow jackets or Honey bees. You have to run a certain distance while they chase you, stinging you the whole time. The don't do any damage but every second you are being stung increases your chances of going into Anaphylaxis, your breathing becomes raspy and loud and your vision blurs, then you go unconcious after a couple of minutes like this you then die. This could be cured by using and Epi pen.

Just tossing a stoner idea out here. How about a random airstrikes from the AI to simulate the remaining governments of the world trying to eradicate the zombies in random towns at random times. If you just happen to be in the area... You would have a few seconds warning because you would hear the jet engine in the sky before the JDAM hits (Not realistic I know). Oh well. :( Yea? Nay?

Non pvp survivors are welcome to play on our server. Also, just register for the forum in order to get the password.

The server has admins constantly on, with more being trained on how to spot cheating players in the server logs . We have admins spanning timezones from the UK all the way to Pacific coast, so there is a very good chance that an admin will be on to handle the occasional cheater that gets in.

Register on the forums to gain white list access. We have active admins that check the logs constantly for scripters. The password has helped cut down the instances of scripting quite a bit. We have teamspeak and all are welcome to come and play on our server. http://www.native-soil.com/home

No such thing as a friendly hacker. A cheater is a cheater no matter sgthornet tries to paint it. People cheat for one reason, to take advantage of others. IMHO hackers are about half a step above pedophiles.
