    A Funny Feeling

I know the feeling, Jord. Attachment to a faithful sidearm or piece of equipment has prevented me from picking up what might have been a superior weapon. Getting familiar and used to a specific item means you know exactly when you can and cannot engage a target with it. That provides a level of comfort for the user and helps define your tactics in the game. For the longest time I refused to let go of my Winchester and Makarov. Even with the louder sound of the 1588 the slugs will drop zeds and players in one solid hit. But there is something to be said with knowing the ins and outs of the various firearms -- especially if you find yourself on the receiving end! I say break the mold: if you find a new gun, give it a go! I found an M16A2 the other day right off the bat from a spawn-in. At first I thought I would hate it, but it has proven itself in multiple situations where I had to drop zeds fast, or engage a bandit who wanted my beans.

Poor bandit never knew what happened...

Not sure how I sound like a "27-year-old childish pissed off dude." Pretty sure I was quite civil on my commentary. And, for your information, I am enjoying life. I am insulted you presume to think I feel otherwise! Unlike you I made no veiled insults towards your person, only the tactical choices you made in the video -- with the hope that next time you find yourself in that situation, you'll catch a moment that truly is noteworthy. If you can't stand a bit of critique when posting something sub-par, then don't post. Honestly, you need to sound less like a 23-year-old childish pissed off kid. But since this is your first post with that tone, I'll let it slide. ;)

I'm pretty sure that wasn't a real 'bandit.' Chances are good he was a new player who murdered for a can of beans, or out of self-defense. Even less-experienced survivors know that keeping calm (even under effective fire) means living longer then pissing off a town full of zeds. I really loved how you were standing out in the open, though, and not using concealment to hide your position. If I had been on the hillside to your left, I would have had no qualms with emptying the contents of your skull all over the field. After all, YOU have a bandit skin too. Whats up with that?

Visibility system - how it works?

These icons are only applicable to Zeds. Players can see you at any distance depending on weather, visibility, lighting, and PC specs (draw distance, mainly). If you can see another player, chances are he'll be able to see you.

    Lumberjack Simulator?

I have yet to need to light a fire, or have my heat drop below 75. I notice when I am moving around a lot (roadie run or otherwise) that I slowly, SLOWLY regain or stabilize my heat. I know that players who sit still for long periods of time or are sneaking around a lot will also lose body heat quicker. This was also at night on a US TZ server. I think the mechanic is good. When it rains I need to find shelter and either wait it out or light a fire. When it stops raining I step outside, move out, and in a matter of 10-15 minutes my body heat is back to acceptable levels.
