About Towel-Tango

    On the Coast
  1. Spawn some NPC riflemen in a small village or area (castle maybe?) and give them assault rifles. They aggro against anyone firing a gun in or around the town. This would give players some place to relax without making it impossible for bandits to attack. A lone bandit would get destroyed but if they grouped up (herding cats) then they should be able to take it no problem. Disclaimer: I'm no modder so I have absolutely no clue how difficult implementation would be or if this is the perfect solution.

    The PvP Discussion Thread

been playing for about week and have only been PK'd once (Bastard said he was friendly then shot me in the back). You know why? I act as if someone is watching me at all times. The fear of being killed is 99% of the fun in this mod. This mod isn't supposed to give everyone a fair chance or hold their hand. Its all about surviving. You realize you can shoot back right? You can kill those bandits, they're not invincible monsters that see all and know all. You NEED to be aware of your surroundings at all times. I've seen way too many players that never even noticed me until I announced myself as friendly. If you stick in a group or have some kind of awareness bandits are a problem. In this game you will DIE, end of story. *quick edit* I also want to stick with the 50 player limit with servers, you shouldn't be running into a survivor every 10 minutes. If you are, you're doing it wrong
  3. Slow the infected zombies to the speed of a player in standing double time. But add infected hounds that run as fast as the current zombies, or faster. You can already use the animations and models of the in-game dogs (mongrel) possibly, add these wild dogs into the woods or in small towns. Dogs could be attracted to player corpses or the corpses of dead animals (or both) adding this would make hunting, Pking, and just running in the woods more risky.
