  1. I do like silenced weapons, but I like crossbows and weapons like that. So thinking there is going to be bows in the standalone they are easy to reload but a bit inaccurate compared to the crossbow, but the crossbow takes forever to reload and they are both in the primary slot, so I think there should be a miniature crossbow so that it would go into the secondary slot and be slightly more accurate then the bow and also reloads quicker then the crossbow but does less damage and hard to find.

    Standalone Poll: First Person Only?

Well at the moment the 1st person is only around 90 degrees and the real humans FOV 180 the reason Rocket still kept the 3rd person is that you would get closer to 180 degrees. I think we should keep the 3rd person unless they increase the FOV for 1st person.
  3. There should be an extra slot for small melee weapon. Like a secondary slot but only for small melee weapons. It might hold Hunting Knife (assuming it can be used as a weapon) small hatchet ect or maybe it can hold attachments for weapons like silencer extended mag acog sight red dot sight etc
  4. Here is just a funny suggestion. What about holiday things like for Halloween you can put slender to scare the %#^@ out of people for October, and Christmas Santa zombies that drop epic loot but are rare, and Easter Rabbit Costume zombies that drop easter eggs. just examples and for a bit of fun.
  5. Hey nice screenshots. Anyway can we see a small bit of gameplay. Like you run into a building shoot some zombies then go into the inventory screen or something. Thanks Edit: Oh damn sorry about the double post

How do you approach other players?

Hey, shooting people on sight is one of the safest things to do, but not the best way to survive. If you want to get somewhere but you cannot avoid a encounter, and also maybe get a new friend and more loot. When you see a person in the distance (most likely to work in a forest) you hide and wait for the guy to get close then speak to him and warn him to drop his gun and walk away from it. Then you show yourself and warn him if they do something wrong you will shoot them. Then you can ask him to join you or just tell him stay away from his gun untill you are out of sight. Now if the person doesn't put his gun down shoot his legs then stop the bleeding then aim all guns at his head and loot his bag at the same time. Afterwards you loot the bag give him morphine then blot for it. This is a nicer way to get loot and also to say DON'T MESS WITH ME
  8. Okay I got 2 suggestions and I don't know if they already been posted. 1. Make a single player version in the standalone because some times people have internet problems and that sucks, and also make things when you need two players (like a transfusion) able for one player in single player. 2. A tired system like when you run or sprint you get tired, but when getting chased (don't ask me how they would be able to do this) by zombies they get adrenaline and so they run faster but when they stop they get really tired.
  9. What is needed In Day Z Standalone is the ability to study dead bodies and be able to tell when and how they died. Like if survivors has a wallet with an ID so you can tell who it was. You can tell if the survivor got shot, you can predict someone is in the city, and if you have good training (from a book or something) you can tell when he died so you can get a safer prediction if there is someone in town.
  10. I agree that shoot on sight is just stupid, but shooting on sight is safer then taking the risk of getting shot, so if you encounter someone keep you gun ready and aim at their limbs not head so if he/she goes hostile you can knock him/her out take some stuff and fix them up and leave, simple and friendly-ish.
