If tents werent able to be duped, then this wouldnt happen nearly as often either... I think its a logical progression for the game, or at least till duping/cheating can be dealt with. And you say try to find a way to deal with them? I have been playing a few weeks now, and no where near the level most of you are at. How am I supposed to just instantly level the playing field? Its near impossible in the games current state. I can't even gear up 1/2 the time without being picked off by some tower cowards ( who i might add prob have 5+ tents full of stuff). Perhaps make sniping not available in only recruit servers would help? Not saying remove it entirely, but at least give us new players a chance to learn the game and not have to be worried about being sniped. I would play single player, but alas the feature was removed. So what options do I have honestly??? Play on empty servers? Meh. Sorry but I do not play this game to deathmatch... I play to have fun, mess with zombies, and make new friends. Deathmatch should be serperated/spun off into their own servers imho. If I wanted to snipe and play deathmatch, I play counterstrike source or Team Fortress 2.

ROFL to those crying they would quit. BOO HOO. Its an alpha, its not a finished product. You knew this when you started. Get over it. Rest us do... I for one welcome derezzing the hive . In its current state it does nothign but aid hackers dupers and clans, and does nothing but hurt those new or running solo. BTW, on a side note, speaking of feces. Would be cool if there had to be bathroom breaks, and if you could throw it at the zombies or wizz off high buildings onto them >.>

The OP does have a point. Think about this logically instead of bashing the OP... Personally I dont kill others, I have once but was to protect a friend. I never ever shoot first or try to hurt others. This is one point I feel in this game, is majorly broken. Humanity. In real life, no one would act like that. They would run out of ammo VERY fast and prob die to karma... So how is it a proper way to portray a zombie world? It isnt , and wouldnt happen IRL other then to steal gear perhaps... @ the moment we have snipers that kill you for no reason. Be one thing if they wanted your gear, but they do it just to piss others off. Honestly I find coward snipers annoying, and sometimes wonder why they even bother playing. I mean there are 100+ games that offer a sniper lots more rewards then killing friendly players here on Dayz. And top that off with the fact that humanity does little to nothing, and over 1/2 the snipers I encounter are hackers/dupers/clan members who dont have to even look for a gun, its given to them... I love to see the option of not having cowards/hackers sniping at me, even if its just a small percentage of servers. I shouldnt have to constantly disconnect and reconnect to empty servers just to try to find loot unarmed. Its a joke. Whole point of dayz is zombies and teamwork, not a deathmatch. Most of you have seemed to forget that.

Laptops work just fine don't let these imbacels tell you otherwise. My main playing rig is a desktop, but I do play on my 3 yo laptop time to time, which plays pretty smooth on medium settings @ 1680x1050. :) Laptop - Toshiba x205-SLi6 (SLI 8600gt's) / 4gb ram / Win7 / Core 2 Duo @ 2.4ghz The main thing about this game is your latency. Get under 80 ping on a server and you should be good to go. :)
