    Dunno when but my Video memory (in video options) default setting disappeared. When playing dayz i can only choose from high, low and med. No default option. When i run arma2OA without the mod the option appears. Any suggestions? EDIT: It only happens when i launch DayZ from DayZ commander by double clicking on a server. If I launch the game using the "launch dayz now" button from the settings manu in dayz commander and then choose a server from in game the option "default" appears ...

    Bean King already posted a working solution ... dunno why he edited it :) It was my Dxtory that limited the FPS. (same with fraps). I just had to alter the settings and turn off that fps limiter

    Hi, A few days ago i could run DayZ with 40-60 fps with not much problems. Since then i have been tweaking some cfg files etc to max out performance and i ended up with this strange issue. My FPS is capped at 30. No matter what settings i lower and what scene i load it never ever goes over 30 even on lowest possible settings and res. (it rarely drops below to be honest... sometimes to 25). I even thought it might be a problem with Dxtory not showing correct data so i downloaded fraps but it shows the same FPS. I tried every settings variations and nothing helps. My specs: Phenom II x4 955 3,7gh 8gb RAM Ati radeon 6870 Windows 7 64bit
