Not a bug. It happens to me when I try and find a server with reasonable ping. This can happen if you sit in the lobby too many times, or for too long.

[Fixed] I re-installed Arma II OA, now I'm up and running :D Hello, I was recently global banned due to unknown reasons. I was playing with my clan, and suddenly the server owner and myself are global banned. We were in a skype call, and we have no ideas on why this happened to us. I tried buying new keys, and ordered 5 from a friend, I played on each one for about 30 minutes before getting global banned. In fustration of being so stupid and wasting my money, I made a new steam account, and purchased Arma II once more. I installed the game, using steam's key that it registered with the game, and when I join a DayZ server I'm still global banned. I tried this once more, and I'm still global banned. So, 7 keys later, I'm still getting banned after 30 minutes play time maximum. Why is this happening? I've re-installed Arma II on my original steam account, and used a new key, but it's global banned too. Any help would be appreciated, I really want to play again, and I'm fustrated that I've lost gear due to this.

Ok, I've fixed the issue. I re-installed Arma II on my original Steam account, now I can play again. I lost so much money buying 2 new copies :(

I assume they sapwn in most civillian areas, considering most people would have warm-ish clothes in their wardrobe. Check houses or barns? I've never played the map, so I'm not 100% sure.

Wait... What? There's rail guns on this map? I've missed alot on vacation...

Have you refreshed the list? Also, try resetting any search fields that are filled in. It may be filtering ost servers out.

Yeah, I've joined private hives and really confused myself... I remember when I first got DayZ, I joined a private hive and found a G17, then logged out for dinner. When I returned I joined another server, this time a regular Hive server. Damn I was annoyed that I lost my frist gun. :D OT: Try and join another server, and post if it's fixed or not. Most bugs and issues are easily fixed :)

I'd like to see seasons, however I think it's not necessarry. Also, as Enforcer said, it's most likley not possible with Real-Time.

If the key is in use, then it's been stolen or you bought a key from a non-trustworthy player.

Did you catch his username? You can submit that to BE, I think... Nice way to lure a hacker, anyway ;) Most of my encounters end up with them killing me :L

Ok, thanks. I'm asking for some genuine, decent advice, and all I get is people like you yelling at me. I'm not one to fight, so I'll end this here. If you want to continue with your pointless comments, please feel free to. All it's doing is bumping the topic, attracting some real help.

I know it's obvious, but I wanted to try something that will stop me wasting big money. I'll take this up with BattlEye as I see this as a large fault in their system. Thanks for your help, I really hope I can play again. (Also, I didn't buy CO, I bought OA. it's far cheaper :3)

I didn't buy the game 7 times. I bought 5 keys, for $5 from a friend. I bought Arma II twice more because I'm sick of this issue. Also, why can my friend use those 5 keys, yet when I try it says I'm global banned? I also dislike the way that everyone on this forum assumes that if you're global banned then you hacked. (Edit: corrected spelling)

I understand that some maps like Takistan are already in Arma II, but Panthera isn't in Arma II is it? If it isn't then is it just based from another map with added structure and fleshed out with pretty forests and hills? I see how it would take a long time to create one from scratch, but even editing the current maps is enough for me to see if I can give it a shot. I basically want to find out how, to pass the information onto my friend, who can edit the map, then pass it on to another friend who can host it. If anyone knows how to add buildings, or loot spawns, to any maps it will be enough for us!

I disagree, why? Because if you've ever been to a firearm/weapons store, you'll see that there are about 100-150 guns, but boxes upon boxes of mags and ammunitions. That alone is proof that ammo will be very common, and a working gun (Chances are most weapons wouldn't have been cleaned or handled for a while) will be a lot lower.

As the title says, list your current gear :) I died before I went on holiday, so all I have at the moment is: A Winchester, some food and drink, m1911 with half a mag, binoculars, Alice pack, and finally the essential tools I need to survive, like matches, a hatchet and a hunting knife. I assume your loadouts will be much better than mine, assuming you haven't died recently. (If you've seen my store, then I'm not using the many items I have in tents/vehicles because I was making my way to the camp, and picked up the stuff I have now en-route)

I have a store, check my siggy. I'll trade a M14 for your AKM and a G17 for your M9, and a pair of NVGs for 2 GPSs?

Alot of people can't afford $60-80... I think around $30 is a good price for the first alpha release, then maybe $60-80 when it's finished, as with Minecraft's system.
