Free to use, yes. Free to host, no. Dedicated machines cost money and are a prerequisite for Standard DayZ Servers. While you can host a Private-Hive server off your localhost, it's not going to run good whatsoever. Slotted GSPs provide a more affordable alternative with certain, obvious, drawbacks. Clearly, a dedicated server is the best way to go if you know what you're doing, have the time to spend, and have the money to spend. But, not everyone has that.

The IDs are just instances in the database (formally called the Hive). I doubt the DayZ Support team have any control over it aside from making new instances. I think the "Request Cancellation" is a byproduct of WHMCS and not actually used.

Neither DayZ Commander or Lingor Island are supported here. Look elsewhere for assistance.

There is. Sadly, one way to move people in (for normal forum moderators) is to give them a warning point (0 points) and select to move them to group: Server Host.

Try to install the mod manually. DayZ Commander just started doing Lingor, it may not be properly configured.

Maybe it's the server, then. Have you attempted to join multiple servers? Could also try installing the mod manually. Also, what exactly is the message you receive upon connecting to a server? Nevermind, I see it now.

Currently, we're having an issue with file permissions with a very random select few of clients. We're working on it as this is a massive issue for those affected. It's not something we block on purpose.
