The Ram will help, yes. It'll also allow you to do more things without anything crashing due to memory. A new proc will definitely help... With the specs you listed, you're probably better off building a new PC. You'll want a 7.2k RPM HDD at MINIMUM. (Might even want to go for 10k or 15k if not an SSD.)

Probably. If you're buying the parts, get 8gb of ram. I'd say get this or this for a proc. This is a better GPU for the same price range. Also, inb4 these products aren't available in whichever country you reside in.

The point of Prime95 is to max out your computer's resources to observe temperatures. xD I'm thinking that you don't have enough power to run your GPU. Anyway, 220W is a very low amount for a computer these days. I heavily recommend getting anew PSU. Wouldn't hurt to upgrade your proc. as well.

No, sorry. Prime95 is a stress-testing software. It makes your CPU and GPU work really hard so you can see how it performs and how hot it gets. Get RealTemp or OpenHardwareMonitor, run Prime95 for a while and record temperatures. If your PC powers off during this, record the last temp you read. I just think your computer might be overheating and powering down to protect itself. EDIT: Another hunch I have is that your PSU (power supply) is shit and is either under-powering your hardware or having voltage ripples (random bursts of voltage). What is your PSU model?

Record the last temp of the CPU and GPU just before it reset/reboot. Prime95. Post results, please. Also, don't bump a thread if it's not on the 2nd page. edit; It's possible the game is driving the GPU (or CPU) to heat up in very short period. Similar to the STARTCRAFT GPU over heating issue. This is just a speculation.

If you don't have too many items, I suggest killing yourself (in game). This seems to remedy the issue.

You need to have Arma 2: Combined Operations (both Arma 2 (or Arma 2: Free) and Arma 2: OA). If you are lacking both of these, you'll need to acquire them. I adore this idea simply because I had the same one. In a previous game, I did this with PHP scripts. If Signatures returned with the new forum, I was actually going to offer this (provided the leaderboards and other statistics are made accessible again.) Edit; Actually, I don't think it should be a thing that the Dev team should focus on simply because we're able to do it ourselves.
