Forgot to mention, I'm happy to play early mornings or late evenings, after the kids are in bed, i'm definitely a fogey, it seems the older I get, the more like one of the old gits from Harry Enfield and Chums I become lol!

What a load of crap, you don't have to kill anyone to take their gear, I haven't been playing long and from a fresh spawn i've picked up enough gear to survive on my own and guess what...........I didn't have to kill anyone to do it, saying "friendly" or otherwise, you are doing it to be a dick, plain and simple fella, make what excuses you want as it will not change that fact! :) -
I'm quite happy to play with US players, I mainly stick to UK servers unless i'm playing late at night and then i'll jump on a US server, not found lag to be too much of a problem.

Hi all, 39 year old gamer, new-ish to DayZ, playing lone wolf at the mo as none of my friends play this mod, have a few zombie kills with my current character and no murders, try to avoid players and zombies if at all possible, want to survive more than pvp, would be interested in meeting up and maybe starting a camp, i'm currently carrying a tent.....if no one kills me and takes it before then lol. Doubt it was a hacker, what self respecting hacker is going to bother messing about in a mod killing people, i'm sure they have bigger fish to fry! Thankfully I haven't come across any "hacking" problems as yet and hopefully won't any time soon lol. -

Personally I would like to see sleep introduced into the game, everyone needs to sleep and think of how scary it would be to sleep, wondering if your going to be attacked by a walker or a bandit, obviously in a world populated with the undead, infected or both, sleeping would be a dangerous and scary thing to do, but essential to your health and survival. How it would be implemented i'll leave to you guy's lol!

I prefer the undead tbh, but I would like to see the infected too, think it would be cool to see a couple hundred zombies in a city and mixed in with them is x amount of infected, you alert some zeds and they move towards you, you start to back off thinking you can run/dodge them.....when suddenly out of the masses of walking dead, x amount of infected run at you, you start to run and find yourself alerting more undead, who in turn alert more infected........you are shafted lol! -
Nice story, I was going to do the same as you and enter the big city, changed my mind lol, decided I would head inland instead, I hit up a couple of deer stands to get some gear, saw a barn and headed for that, stopped just short to scope the place out before entering, the next thing a shot rings out and i'm down, another shot and i'm dead, here ends my first life! :( I'm now on my second life and my character is 2 day's old, i've even been in Elektro and survived, toured a lot of the inland area and hopefully i'll last a bit longer, maybe i'll meet a fellow survivor and team up........maybe.

Does the sun exist and are zombies supposed to move so fast?

The zeds are not really zombies but are infected instead, this is probably why they move so fast and have a heat signature!
