sandbox games are on the rise - and thats a good thing. too long we had to live with dumbed down games that made the choices for us. away with the threadmills - in dayz my imagination and immersion plays a big part. there is no quest there is literally nothing to do - because nothing matters. but somehow exactly this makes me want to do 1000 things - unlike in other games...

in the shipwreck I fell off and died ^^ but I am, not angry anymore. in fact im happy when I die, cause the more loot I have the more paranoid I get, and it slows me down.. -

Fix combat logging, ghosting and server hopping at the same time?

make it 10 minutes and make the logout process a game mechanic where you have to find warm safe shelter -so you start refreshed next login. if you log out in the field - the next login there is a chance you might be sick, lost some times, had some item degardation and also maybe moved a bit on the map... spent more time logging out -> benefit just logout -> deficit... -
let go pvp herrp derrp no boy -> why not interact with people, here starts the fun, we have given plenty of nice items already to interact.. help, judge whatever just dont only pvp

its cheating in my eyes you can get high contrast settings where you spot people on 400m easily..

just try out arma 3 for a second: control and movement is so much smoother its like night and day... and its basically the same engine - I hope they go for it! aswell the stances in arma 3 its just perfect!

Could we have traps that make sound when someone is walking over them? Maybe two different sounding traps?
