  1. Took this the wrong way, I was reading changer and thinking generator. My bad.
  2. The first thing I said is still valid, giving yourself an advantage others don't have. You are essentially replacing the need to find other like-minded survivors to help you with a dummy account to help yourself. Again, it's not cheating just taking from the overall experience of the game in my opinion. It breaks down like this no matter how you wanna look at it: pay more money, make the game easier.
  3. Now this is certainly cheating if I'm reading this correctly. fyi when you google said phrase the first website is called "***" I mean come on.

    Buying a New Laptop

Custom building a PC is the best way to go about this. The problem is whether or not you know how to assemble it and get it going. You can buy a custom PC piece by piece and put it together and save hundreds and have yourself a nice set-up. I've put together "decent" computers in the $500 range and pretty damn powerful ones in the $1000 range. GIve me a price range you are looking for and I'll see what I can dig up.
  5. I don't think it's cheating but close to it. You are giving yourself an advantage that the other people in the game do not have by playing the game as intended. In my personal opinion you are turning it into a classic pay-to-win type game. Free to play games that have an in-game store that you can use real money to purchase items that get you ahead of the competition. In my opinion by buying an extra account that is what you are doing. tldr: Not cheating but taking away from what the game really is
  6. Well as a 2-day old player with nothing to lose I'm heading to Berezino when I get home from work. If it truly is the land of milk and honey it will help me finally get some supplies and do the exploring I've been dying to do (literally.) If the server I choose happens to be a bandit hangout there then I guess I'll die, nothing new for me. Don't get me wrong, despite dying frequently as I learn I love this game.

things to do/ where to go

I think what bournesto33 said is closest to what the game is/should be. More than any other game I've played this game really gives you the "I am the character" feeling. It's post zombie apocalypse, everyone you know is dead, you were being chased by a horde and cornered on a dock where you jumped on a ship, the ship crashed at sea and you wake up on a beach with nothing. Imagine that's what just happened, you need to live, you are in a strange place you don't know, and you can hear a far off gun shot so you know you aren't alone in the area but no idea who is there or what they want. If your goals so far have been to arm yourself and gather supplies do that first. If you have completed all those goals make more. Personally my next goals are to explore the terrain and find safe places. If I were in this situation I would feel mobility is the one of the most important things. I need to know where I can be safe and the fastest way to get there. I need to have a safe zone I can run to without kneeling down and pulling out a map. Where can I stock up on supplies (least risk/most reward), and where do I need to be by nightfall. I'm very new to this game, but this is how I see it.

    This...Game...

I feel like most people who replied missed the point you just made, maybe I stated it wrong. I really enjoy this game and earning the supplies and making/finding shelter IS the fun of the game. If I have the best stuff and a totally secure area, what then? I don't want to be so attached to a vehicle or weapon that it ruins my day if I die/get hacked. Earning the top stuff in a game like this IS the point. It's not like an MMO where I get the super gear so I can go kill bosses, getting the gear is my goal. Once I have it, time to recklessly explore until I die. Then it's time to earn my way back up. Hopefully knowing my outlook on the game you guys will be able to better understand how I don't think hackers will bother me that much. In that case my first hacker experience was the nicest damn hacker ever! lol

    This...Game...

I'm sure it will happen, I haven't been a hardcore gamer for half my life without learning how to shrug off hackers though. I was fortunate in my first spawn I was within running distance of a stack of boxes that were full of supplies so I guess I learned fast that guns and supplies can be replaced even if it takes time they are out there. So I won't sweat the occasional death to a hacker.
