I was playing DayZ and my fiancee was in the room watching the movie Seven Psychopaths. I went to bed a few hours later and was in some DayZ type world in my dream. My underground base was under attack, my brother and I were fighting off two attackers we couldn't get a good view on. I finally caught up to one of them and had a clear shot, I pulled up my FNS-40 (Not in DayZ but its the gun I actually use for concealed carry) and I pop two shots to their chest. Suddenly I make eye contact and I just shot Woody Harrelson. Somehow my dream mixed both DayZ and the movie I was only glancing at. I don't remember what happened after that if anything even did.

Alright guys I just came back this week from about a 6-month hiatus. I was never really that great to begin with I just stuck to small servers with a buddy. I managed to find a private hive I like. It has increased vehicle spawns but not hundreds extra like some servers. I got my hands on a Ural and Off road truck after some repairs and hid them in the woods in what I thought would be out of the way and fairly safe. I tried to put trees between them and the area I felt would be most likely to be traveled if at all. I'm really looking for a place that a vehicle of this size can be hidden and won't be found. Please send me your suggestion in PM. As a general question that can be answered openly do you guys find the best hiding place to be in the woods on the Northern or Southern half of the map? Rabid

I had no plans to take it to the debug. On top of all the other reasons I would never wanna walk that far after death! lol

Tough choice for me still. I've decided to go bandit on one of the servers I play and I have the M4 CCO SD and 2 M14 AIMs stashed. I'm very likely to die on this adventure. I love my M4 CCO SD so much for getting around I'm not sure I want to lose it. Maybe I'll just try a lot harder to live and get away :)

I assume to keep zed aggro off of yourself and stay as stealthy as possible? M14 AIM is higher damage right?

Donator perks killed it for me too. I'm aware that a LOT of private hives have this but it shouldn't be part of your recruitment message. If/when I find a server I absolutely love I'll donate to make sure it stays around, not for perks.

You've got an M4A1 CCO SD and M14 AIM, going to Cherno for a killing spree. Equal ammo, which do you take?

Don't really see why, if an admin can spawn items why steal items? I also trust my admins pretty well. I mean I heard of that happening on the LaughingMan server because they gave full admin tools to a lesser admin but I think only the main two admins on the server I play on have those tools. And typically they aren't even playing they are helping new players get introduced to the game and coming up with events/ideas to improve server. Now I'm risking someone from these forums logging on and searching for my vehicles but I'm quite sure I'm safe from my admins :)

Well I guess that would fix my dilemma... No vehicle to hide... But all that mobile storage :(

Well currently the Ural has a bunch of vehicle parts stashed in it that I scavenged from other cars and parts of the map so I don't think it would slow them down too much haha. When I hide vehicles I try to think of hiding it from myself. I usually check out every town I pass but I'm not as thorough in the woods for obvious reasons. Then I think about sight from the air because there are some clans that play on server and have helis. Then I look at nearby towns and fastest route between them by both straight line and roads. The place I have them now I feel could only be spotted by a heli taking the exact right path or a person on foot who just happens to be in the middle of nowhere. I'm hoping there is a better spot though lol Rabid

Hey guys sorry I forgot I made this post and forgot to check back. Well after a few days played jumping back and forth between a few public servers and a private hive I really like I haven't come across any hackers. I can say this is FAR better than the last time I played. I read a lot about abusive admins lately (LaughingMan) and I am pretty sure the ones I have are cool. The only time I've seen them spawn in items was to replace items lost in like a server crash once and as prizes for participating in one of the events they hosted. TL;DR Seems to be less hacking and I plan to stick around! Rabid

DayZ has a large international community as you should know by now. Your inability to overlook a grammatical error only hinders you. English isn't his first language so what, he told the story best he could and I enjoyed it and I'm sure others did.

I also thought the hostage takers were confined to the school so getting capped from the hospital was a bummer lol. Hopefully I'll have a lot more gear ready for the next event. It was a blast for sure and seemed like a pretty good turnout but I didn't take count. I'll also have to get my fraps up and running.

I wasn't going to tell anybody but I missed the bus from Cherno to Electro and I had to run. A few people were dead before I even got there :blush:

I'm no expert but if they opened fire on you as you drove by completely leaving them alone, then they already played like they were at war with you. It certainly sounds like they are bandits in which case they should have already been watching side chat for anyone's position because that's how you get kills. Nothing changed about the dynamic there except they are bad AND mad.

In that case I need to log on in time to find a tent to store my stuff lol. I tried to find one last night but had no luck in Cherno so I started moving out of town and suddenly it's 2am local time and I have to work so I logged haha

So much better :) I'm gonna try to be online for this but having just come back from a long hiatus and missing nvg I feel grossly incompetent to compete lol
