So last night myself and two buddies gear up and head out to do some looting. We have a Humvee all fixed up and ready to roll (packs empty pretty much since Humvee holds so little.) We get a ways from base and see a white car approaching on the road so I move to one side of the road so we can pass without crashing and breaking our vehicles. He pulls to his side and all looks good. At the last moment he swerves and hits me right in the front left, I notice there are two of them at this time both in ghillies. It puts me off the road into a tree and they skid to a stop about 50m away. I immediately call for my team to open fire as I charge into the woods to flank. The passenger side is facing us and he is unable to do more than get out of the car before my team drops him. The driver has gotten out and gone prone but didn't see me charge his flank. My team is still unloading into the car and I put a few rounds into the prone ghillie monster. From impact to last death took about 20-30 seconds and was basically reflex with little thinking. Between helping people and killing players who try to kill me my skins has never been hero or bandit so I consider myself a true survivor. Is a car swerving into you something you would always consider to be an act of hostility or would you say something before opening fire? To me their actions seemed extremely hostile so we killed them before they could attempt the same. Would you have done the same?

I honestly don't think there needs to be a rifle that can hit over 500m consistently in DayZ. Supposed to be apocalypse and not many people have rifles that can hit that range accurately just sitting around.

Would be sweet if there was an AR-15 you could swap barrels and attachments for cqb and long range. Just a thought...

Yeah they basically bounced off the side but it was enough that it put me into the tree so just driving away wasn't an option.

While I'm not a fan of KOS and generally agree with what you say it is still HIGHLY opinionated for a sandbox game.

I recently downloaded one of those DayZ info apps to my phone which is basically quick referrence DayZ wiki. While looking through food types I noticed it said cooked rabbit regens 1600 blood. Can anyone confirm this? I can't find a freakin rabbit to kill.

Found myself really loving the G36 as well, any variant I just freakin love that gun. It's certainly gotten the most kills for me besides the axe of course. Came across a M40A3 at a heli crash the other day though and I'm looking forward to taking that out for some fun. May post up and try to catch some looters today.
