Have been playing on GR servers for a little while now and they are really well run. If you want a server with an inbuilt community, some shooting and some fair and active admins this would be a good bet.

Then join our new Panthera Epoch server. We are running the same ''Wicked AI script that has featured in DevilDogGamer's latest videos and they are tough! We also have bandit AI running and this gives us two mission systems running in tandem so there is nearly always something to go after. The Database was fresh on March third and we haven't done too much so there is plenty of stuff for you to grab. We are looking to keep it a challenge and as such, we haven't enabled Self blood bag so you might have to fight alongside others if you want to keep going. The IP is 144.76.196.44 Port 2512 or search for Spitroast Jerry in Commander. It's a 30 slot server and is hosted in Germany with UK based admins. If you want a real challenge, come and join us, we want a community of like minded survivors and would welcome others. Come and join us. It's a hell of a tough time but it's fun.

Update. Yeah, it was too hard... We have added, by request, self blood bag, deploy bike, personal evac heli, take clothes, locked vehicles take zero damage and are unable to be lifted/towed, a day/night cycle, M240 nests can be added to your base and an improved starting loadout to aid survival!

Been a member of this server from pretty near the start. There's a good, diverse player base, some lone wolves, a couple of bandit groups. All in all it's a lot of fun. Only thing it needs is a bigger population, come and join in.

Has there been a total reset again or something? Logged out with gear, logged in to find myself gearless and back on the coast. After having lost everything at my camp over the last few days, if this is a glitch, it's hugely annoying.

If an admin sees this, Shadz and myself are having trouble getting past create screen. Any server side issues?

If the password has changed, can we get emails sent out sharpish? Of course, it may not have done. Opposite, the server is down for about half hour. That might be why you can't get on.

Just out of interest ''TheMachine'', why are you so put out by this server? Why do you feel you even need to comment? I and the other people on here are playing to enjoy ourselves. If this is the way that suits us, so what? It's a mod, with no set rules. You play your way, I'll play mine. We'll use different servers, I won't see you, you won't see me, we'll be happy.

Had what was possibly my most fun experience on Dayz on here on Sunday. Running with Shadz and Fernando, fantastic altercation with Kirito (again) in the tower. Awesome day. Looking forward to next time I have time to play!

Feel bad about the way in which I killed Kierono tonight. Looked like your gun was pointed my way and I opened up. Not quite in the spirit of things and I want to apologise again. The chopper is yours, the damn things are causing me too much trouble.

Pretty decent setup here, very nice. Could maybe do with side chat enabled to help foster a community? Don't know, depends on your take on lone survivor and whatnot.

Sounds like I missed quite the day, been having fun on Takistan and a shitty day at work though. A move to Chernarus suits me. Lingor got pretty dull, pretty quick. Way too easy to gear up, but I have enjoyed the co-op aspect on the server and the camaraderie. If anyone wants to ''squad up'' let me know. Safety in numbers guys, though I do now have a nifty bandit mask on Takistan... Though I just saw the main post and I might piss and moan about lack of 3rd person. Dunno, will give it a try first.

Kinda like the Hunger Games type things that people are doing at the moment you mean Byrg? That could be pretty epic. I miss Cherno a bit too, could do with a squad really.

That's cool. Gearing up's the best part anyway.
