When in game, press escape to bring up the main menu then options and video options (I think). Then a bar will come up from the bottom and your resolution options are in the top right of that bar. Youll see what I mean once youve done it. -

@ Jeremy768 and all Played DayZ with my specified system. On very low resolution it plays pretty much flawlessly. Given the graphics are pretty bland, it is definitely playable and enjoyable if, like me, you are waiting on a cash injection for your new system. I would definitely recommend playing it even on very low settings if need be, it is still a very enjoyable experience. I will be online all weekend as testament :). Just a few suggestions: 1. It seemed to struggle with dusk in the rain, but was fine during the day in a storm. Perhaps pick either day or night. 2. Agroing a hundred Zeds will not only get you killed but will render yourself useless to defend yourself because of the processor tripping over itself. Thats all I have. Let me know if you have any questions. -

Stop saying "friendly" and immediately trusting me
Dial555 4TURTLE replied to Obsolescence's topic in New Player Discussion
To all Loving the threads. Haven't started the game yet, waiting on my new system being delivered so I thought I'd do some research on how to play DayZ and what kind of people play DayZ. Let me express, I am loving the fact that some choose to be friendly and others choose to be opportunists and/or arseholes. I would like my experience to be as realistic to the Zompocalypse as possible and if some opportunist/arsehole declares friendly and then shoots me in the head for my beans then more fool me! Keep it up ladies and gents, looking forward to seeing you on the survivor island/battlefield/arsehole factory. -
