yeah, this is the main reason why i am waiting for SA. the game needs more teamwork, or at least better zombies, for this game to stop being an open world deathmatch with survival elements and zombies as a minor annoyance, and be more of what it was supposed to be in the first place.

can someone please tell me what is the difference between the "infected" and zombies? zombies are former humans that try to eat normal humans. so what is the difference if they are "infected"?

i wish that the main antagonist was the zombies (which hopefully will happen in the future) and that *some* fellow survivors are your friends (even if they are complete strangers), because realistically in a survival scenario IRL people would team up together because surviving alone is very, very hard. yes, i still want the PVP elements in the game, but to a much lesser extent, as all DayZ is really right now, and has been stated many times before, an open world deathmatch with survival elements with zombies as a minor distraction. i wish zombies didn't have line of sight again, because that was back when you had to sneak around the place and loot, and then and team up to kill the relentless bastards rather than running through the place, getting as much stuff as fast as possible, hide in a bush and kill any players that are attempting to hunt you down because you took those beans like it is now. but of course this is off topic, and has already been covered, and will hopefully be implemented somewhat sometime in the future. back on topic: i'm interested to see your next video, good sir.

this game is made to be hard and mysterious. knowing where you have spawned exactly breaks the mystery, and having a selective spawn would just ruin the game with everyone trying to spawn at the damn NWA. THIS GAME IS NOT GOING TO HOLD YOUR HAND, IF YOU DO NOT LIKE HARD GAMES DON'T PLAY EM.

yes it does, but i and many others recommend buying the upcoming standalone version that is coming out sometime this year, probably early this year. it will have lots of problems solved, as well as the hacker problems (hopefully). however it is your money and your choice, and DayZ is still a damn good mod.

what he said. check the server version, you might want to either downgrade or find another server with the latest version.

on the servers tab of dayz commander, there is a drop-down box to the left. click on it, and select "DayZ panthera only" this will make only servers with panthera on them show up in the server list. this can be applied to any of the other maps, just do the same thing for other maps :D

high pop. to me, going on low pop is cheating, because having player encounters are the point of the game, and zs aren't that much of a threat anyway atm. on high pop it is MUCH more intense and challenging, and it also makes you think "should i go into this city? and it is awesome looking over a town with binocs and see what the players in that area are doing. it is awesome, but yes, it is bound to piss you off alot more. but that is the point.

also they should remove line of sight again. it made them so much more harder and an actual threat... now you could just run past them, loot and get out instead of sneaking past like the good old dayz. and yes, i like the idea that shooting them in the head kills them, but shooting them in the leg only removes their ability to walk properly and only allows them to walk. and shooting them in the arms doesn't enable them to hit... that said DayZ could benefit from directional damage to limbs, and dismemberment, and this.
