I have a private server up and running and had a question about the vehicle spawn. I've read things like there being four motorcycles per server yet in all of the locations I've looked, only one motorcycle has turned up. And the V3S Civilian isn't in either of the locations that others have said it is in. So are vehicles have a % chance to spawn in one of those locations each time the server is reset or do they just eventually spawn? How does this process work? I do know that no one else has taken the vehicle already because currently I'm the only one playing. I'm thinking about adding a few people but I'm still trying to find the best way to go about finding trusted players who will agree to play by a rule set on this server. If anyone is interested in playing on this server send me a message. The idea behind this server is: Zombies are based on slow walking zombies like seen in Night of the living dead and Walking dead TV show. There are also tons of Zombies so sometimes it does get a little scary if your not careful as you will find yourself in the middle of 100+ zombies. We plan to hold weekly events where we have two groups, bandits and survivors. During these events the two groups fight eachother for control over rights to a select city. The winning group gets to claim this city and kill off the other group should they attempt to tresspass at anytime during the week. PvP will be limited so that the game isn't sorely based off PvP and leans more on survival. The only time PvP will take place is during events or if you find someone tresspassing through your land. Suggestions will be welcomed. Just not sure how to go about selecting those who would be interested at this time. Sorry this post strayed from the main topic. Any help on the vehicle spawn would be appreciated.

Slower Zombies.. Has this been talked about?

I'm sure Remero isn't the only one with the slow zombie idea and I'm not saying all shows have slow zombies. The server I played on made the zombie count into around the 200 number. And there are a ton of them! And I'm not even saying that the game should be forced to have slow zombies. I'm just hoping that it stays open for those who want to do a little changes to it and make them slow. And yes, slower zombies does make it a little easier but pvp plays a role in there and if they could add a creature that is faster like a dog.. Then I think it would be a nice balance. I don't think Remero wrote resident evil and the zobies in the first one were slow. As far as head shots.. I've taken out zombies without a headshot. This was something they actually changed on the server I play on. -
I've looked around but I couldn't find any topics about this so I'm extreamly sorry if it has been talked about. I began looking into DayZ by watching Youtube videos of the game. I know I'm not alone when I say that the zombies looked like they are on speed. I'm a huge fan of the slower zombies in large numbers. I know it makes things a little easier quote 'Barbara from Night of the Living Dead', "They are so slow, we could just run right past them." I know the mind frame is a bit more the days on a level of needing some serious challenge, but it really starts taking away from what a zombie is. Now these days its more these "infected" things where they are more humans with a virus running through them. I am just hoping and wishing that perhaps this game won't stay closed to modding. I know it's really easy to just make the zombies stop running and even make it so the only way you can kill them is by shooting them in the head. On the private server I am playing on, this is how it is and I really enjoy it. But hearing about the final release being fast zombies makes me cring and hope it doesn't happen. Am I alone on this? And I really think that if you have not tried it with no running zombies you really should. Its still very enjoyable. Maybe add zombie dogs to replace the running zombies?
