I think it's good we have such variety from different people though regardless of their motivation for doing it. I don't think I have played DayZ with anyone famous. Myself its just nice to be able to blog the journey as its DayZ that got me into video editing as much as it would be nice to make a living off doing it which by the looks of things people must be but that's putting in the effort and damn yes video editing takes hours. As for honoured to be shot by one of them... I think if someone called me the B word it's an instant KOS and I would not be sorry about it.

Its interesting to always see the 2 combined. I am biased towards the game being the complete experience. Native support for film directors well I guess that would have to be through the arma 3 engine for the short term.

Rubber banding effect caused by lag, one second I'm falling into the water, next I am back in the chopper. They made it all the way to salvation city with me bouncing to and from there. I think because of the maps popularity the servers were getting hammered by my guess dos attacks to clear room. All is much better now as we know ;)

What you mean no simulated usable bog roll with rag doll physics? I wasn't even asking for particle effects on the results. I mean with all these diseases its going to get messy fast.

Video making aside I just don't want to see anything injected into the local client for personal use to protect everyone's characters and core game play. No doubt Arma 3 will support this though I don't think anyone will be shut out but its not a priority feature. I think in the future additions like blogging support could be added. Everyone has a DayZ story to tell and look back on. Friends and I already look back a few months and laugh at the good times.

Could not have said it better myself. Its not just because of the videos I produce. But its been abused to the point where just for entertainment is taken over by the expense of other players experience of how DayZ should be. The standalone is looking all the more awesome by server control and no script events from the client.
