I think when someone has the guts to climb to the highest heights in insane climate conditions at some personal risk would suggest that the game is indeed in safe hands with the maximum effort going in to turn it into something we will want to purchase. At the very least beans are back!

Yes of course its here to make money! A game would not go standalone for a reason other than to part you the public of your cash for a game just like anywhere else. However is this a bad thing? Or a scam "wtf video come on ffs!" No it is not a bad thing and this is why. When you buy a game the money goes to the developers and pays for people to inject more countless hours into the project. Its a business and people need to eat "not just beans" As a result you should expect a much higher quality and feature rich experience. That also goes for the waiting time for DayZ to land, from testing in the past releasing a game before its done will do more harm than good. Never have I seen such a thriving mod community spawned from DayZ with plenty of things to do now while we wait. Expectations are high but allow it to meet them and not make up total rubbish plugs when no one has taken a penny. What the hell is wrong with a development studio making a profit so that it can continue to make its games for us to enjoy geez!?

Lets entertain that idea for a second if it was true. What does it matter? If a game is selling well why bring out a game to take attention away from this? It makes good business sense and does not stomp on a very successful game/mod. You named a perfect example of what not to do in WZ's case. Arma2/DayZ has a long way to go yet which is awesome.

I think this is what happens in alpha testing in the gaming industry. You have to live the part in all aspects of life until release day. Its the only way to transfer the true drama into the game. I would not be surprised if the entire development team are currently walking around looking under tables and chairs right now. We should not see this as odd.

There is a ton of servers to play on already I have had no issues there. GP work very hard to build a community and development which is taking things to another level, I think we need to see a whole lot more of this. Being passionate about what you are doing really shows in this mod.

I misread what you said there my fault. No you download origins and then connect to an origins server, The server files I have never had a need for these.

Yep just a test, we dont have studio mics too. Soon.....

Yes they are out there, forums or DC should have them.
