How do you grief someone in this game? I really hope you're not talking about people who just go around mindlessly killing people, as it is just a game afterall. Did Rocket actually say "social experiment"? Or was he talking about the game itself being an experiment - to see if people would actually play it? Bit odd to call a game a social experiment, you're not going to get any kind of results, except that most gamers are just that; gamers. Few people play this game to kill zombies, they're boring, predictable and if you really want to survive all you'd need to do is AFK in a forest - you've just won the game? No thanks, I like the thrill of hunting and being hunted in this game by people who you can't predict or get away from by simply running under a tree.

I loved SWG, before that daft expansion at least. I like the sound of that threesome! :)

I think we should be able to whistle, many times have I tried to get someone's attention but they're just out of range - shooting sends the wrong message. :D

That is why DayZ standalone will be awesome. A developer with the freedom to develope his idea of a game without some publishers ideas of what a good, fast selling game should be, and neither the influence of whiney little kids moaning about how it's too hard (or whatever they'll whine about.)

Killed him, but then I (attempt to) kill most people. Though I'd never consider him a cheater, not in the slightest. Especially how much cheating goes on in this game for easy loot, this guy was taking risks at least.

Options are good. Trying to force your opinion on how people should play a game is a bit pathetic, imo. Also I'm pretty sure you've just made up that DayZ is supposed to be ultra realistic. I've seen "sandbox game" said a few times, though.
