The experimental servers didn't seem to be restarting last night, I've never had an issue finding food before, but I stopped off at 5 or 6 towns on the way to Vybor and everyone had been picked clean, even the odd outcrop of buildings you find in the middle of nowhere had been emptied. Oddly when I got to Vybor it hadn't been touched so found plenty of loot. Made it much more intense.

Makes it much more interesting. I got shot just outside of NWAF respawned in Elktro. Managed to get an axe, can opener and a can of pop, then started a run north west. Staroye - Completely emptied.Mogilevka - Completely emptied.Novy Sobor - Completely emptied.Stary Sobor - Completely emptied.Kabanino - Completely emptied.By this point my character is completely starving and moaning a lot. I'm getting concerned I've given up any attempt of stealth in favour of speed, I'm not going to make it, based on what has happened so far I feel Vybor is my best chance it's a big town so people are bound to have missed something. Got to Vybor and there are some Zombies, the first I've seen since Elktro. First house I come to hasn't been raided go in and find some powdered milk and a fire axe. Then proceed to check the rest of town it hadn't been touched, now fully fed and hydrated, even found a mosin in one of the houses but no ammo. Gear really should be that scarce normally.

Navigation, knowing where North is makes the game a hell of a lot easier. Speed, as a new spawn with nothing to lose, drink and then get off the coast, at the moment as soon as you are off the coast people barely touch anything but the military bases so just storm into town get what you need and get out. Food, the loot maps are pointless at the moment, however the brick houses with the entrances off to the side and the wooden house with a porch on the side (hard to describe which one exactly) that has a table in the corner almost always have food in them. Fire axe, it's all you need unless you want PVP. The shirt you spawn in can be removed and crafted into bandages. Open doors and no zombies mean a place has been raided be very careful. Raiding military bases, I always shut the door behind me when entering or leaving them, gives me vital seconds if someone else is there.

I picked up an AK-107 yesterday cracking weapon but when I was looking online noticed it wasn't in the wiki so googled it, turned out to be a hacked in weapon (probably why there was so much ammunition with it). I kept it but ran back to the airfield and ditched it for a proper gun, annoyed me though as my current gun isn't as good as the gun I swapped for the hacked weapon, win some lose some but didn't want to get kicked out of a server for cheating even though I hadn't done anything wrong. Back on topic, I've wondered around up north most of the time, rarely see anyone, I shot someone in a supermarket, he hadn't seen me but I couldn't risk backing out and I didn't want to startle him. Felt slightly bad about it, but he did have matches on him which I needed. Also met somone sneeking into the barracks after I had just looted it, told him there was nothing good there as I dived into the woods.
