    Found a Car Park? Got some M67 Grenades? Take one of the cars you like, put in the stuff you want, drive all the others together and use the M67 to enjoy the fireworks.

    Build 1.7.1 Rolling Update

    Which bandit will waste ammunition (and maybe reveal his position, attract zombies) on you low bob respawner if you have nothing but painkillers, a bandage and maybe a flashlight? There's no use in taking that risk, seriously. If you're deeper in the woods and more north, well, you become a more and more valuable target, but you also find more and more valuable targets for yourself.
  3. Putting a weapon from your inventory into a lootpile is safe, it will not disappear. You should do that every time you want to change your weapons if you find something new. Most safe way: put the ammunition first into the lootpile, then the weapon itself, then put the new ammunition into your backpack, then the new weapon into your main slot, then the new ammunition from your backpack into the inventory. Takes some time and you're very vulnerable while doing this, but on the other hand: losing both weapons as it happens from time to time too is the same stupid situation. Also, when exchanging a weapon from your backpack with the one in your inventory, make sure you got at least one slot more free in your backpack than amount of items to be exchanged. May get screwed up too sometimes, so here again: it's safer to use an already existing lootpile.

    You could randomize the starting loadout, it's an apocalypse. Something bad happened, people were in stress, grabbed their stuff and somehow some survived. So, you may spawn with a flashlight, 2 bandages and maybe some flares. Or, you spawn with only a flashlight and one bandage and a can of coke. Or, you spawn without a flashlight, but with 2 bandages and can of beans. Or, you spawn with a Makarov you still had from your service days, but no ammo of course and maybe one bandage. It may add a bit more fun with different randomized loadouts.

    Some of you just don't get it, do you? It's another alpha-build, where rocket is testing how some things work or do not work, it's released and applied to the testing horde called 'players', they share their opinions about the current release and then rocket and his team make the decisions how to proceed. It's not written anywhere that the current way the zombies are, with their detection range for example, stays as it is. Everything is permanently subject to change. Just enjoy being part of the project, it may turn into something real good, but to find a somewhat close to perfect balance it may always go from very easy to impossible hard from build to build. Also, losing gear, who cares? You may find it again, or maybe not, or mabye even better. Until then: train your sneaking skills with the current zedcalypse. And after you've looted a deerstand in bright daylight without any zed noticing you were there: congratulations, you've won a very small part of the game!

    Some of you are having issues with zombies. How comes? Zeds are are attracted by: Smoke Grenades, Flares ... especially if you want to raid a deer stand: throw a flare in the open and loot it. Same goes for barns. And don't tell me you didn't know that.

    I missed the wall of text somehow, but it was a good read anyways. But you're right on some aspects, but it's hard to 'force' people in the way 'games are meant to be played by the developers for the ultimate experience', since this would be a rule, and everyone tends to bend rules. It's a human thing, you can't get it out of them.

    Do you have a fixed IP? Maybe this is banned instead of your GUID/PlayerID. So of course they cannot find you. Just ask them to please check what kind of bans are really possible.

    The map isn't that big. So if someone is checking those areas where 'normal' people never go to: you can find a LOT of stuff. Sometimes 3 - 4 tents full with stuff, which is then placed into a lootpile outside, destined for despawning. Vehicles are the same, you find them, you take them, loot them, hide them somewhere else and be happy about if it's still hidden where you hid it. Get used to, you're not alone and you're not the only ones that roam in the north-eastern area near Berezino or deeper in the woods. It's amazing what you can discover sometimes.

    As far as it had been written all over the forum in some cluttered posts: No. It's interesting how often that weapon is available, regarding such low low low spawnrates for certain weapons anyways. I'm still sad that I once lost my M249 due to stupidity, never found one again.

    Says the dude with the chick name. Anastaja is finnish language and means pretty much stealing or being a usurper. Not to forget, the chick name is Anastasia or Anastacia. But for some people are all names that end with 'a' = female.

    'see on eye direction not body direction', now that's neat. No more dangerless walking behind a zombie that sometimes 'looked' behind him but the body was still looking up front, so not taking note of you.

    Bye Servers, Welcome THE SERVER!

    Currently, with a 50 and sometimes 75 players cap at most, very often at least 20 to 25 players are in Cherno and Elektro. At least 5 are around Stary and maybe another 5 are around the NW Airfield, all the others are spread out and maybe heading for Balota, NE Airfield and Berezino + Krasnostav or they're somewhere out in the countryside, looting barns and deerstands and sometimes stumbling upon another player in the woods. Oh, and very seldom you see someone near Devil's Castle.

    Sadly, those in Germany without a proxy at hand cannot watch that wonderful video, because of: "Dieses Video enthält Content von UMG.     Enfields own the Northeast...

    Once all I had was an Enfield, and I was able to up my murder count by 6 in a short time and get away with some awesome loot. Most important if you are using an Enfield -> don't be the first one to start shooting. Be nasty, evil and cruel, just like the world surrounding you.

    0.19% or Why I stoped playing

    I once found one NVG in the NW airfield, I died 10 minutes later, shit happens. I once found GPS, and died 5 minutes later ... killed someone after respawn and re-obtained a GPS + Range Finder, nice new start. I once had a DMR with 8 Mags, but got killed due to my own stupidity. I once had GPS + NVG, went to the NW one and found the M4 Holo, I died right after I left the airfield, got killed by some guy. Well, shit happens. Gear isn't everything, a good shot with any gun right into the head is 'game over', no matter what gear the opponent has. Nothing is more fun than killing someone possessing 'everything' with a nice shot into the head from a Makarov. Often you got nothing to lose, but everything to win. These are the moments to remember, a nice shoot out somewhere and you're the last one standing and looting, and suddenly you go up from 'poor guy' to 'rich bitch', just to be the 'poor guy' again 10 minutes later. That's what's so much fun in this mod.
