If you once went from around 500 blood up to 10k by only eating cans of beans, noodles and the other crap, while having tons of wood, meat and anything else, but NO matches, you learn to worship every cold can of food you find. -

It's just not 'realistic' that someone suddenly changes clothes just by killing a bunch of people. Since then different skins have been implemented, and if you see someone with a ghillie suit or any other non-standard skin: shoot first, they often got worthy loot to lose and will shoot if they see you first or try to get away stealthily. -

Loot should despawn 5 minutes after no other player had been in the area and as soon as another one moves in: respawn some stuff. Make it 5 minutes for low yield, 10 minutes for medium yield and 15 minutes for high yield, 30 minutes for military areas. Issues solved.

Logging off and back in in Barracks, famous sniping locations, in Military tents, in Supermarkets and anywhere else heavy traffic is to be expected is STUPID. Of course, if you do not have the 5 - 10 Minutes to go back into the woods and hide properly because of your wife is calling for something or you finally need to go to work or WHATEVER, then take a server that is low on population and log in there, crawling into some safer zone and log back in where you want to play. I got shot 3 or 4 times while logging in, shit happens. I also shot quite a few people that suddenly popped up in front of me in high value areas. Stupid people often die, but never get extinct. -

Regarding Melee weapons: from the look like as they work and act, they're a new or an formerly unused range weapon with a changed animation and model, greatly reduced bullet range and they consume ammunition, as you can see on the muzzle flash and the small cloud of dust that appears each time you swing. Ammunition usage may be the reason why there's a lot of 'ammo' spawning when you drop a hatchet or any other weapon, since it's ArmA-specific that you drop all the ammo aswell when you drop a weapon. The way melee weapons are implemented right now it's time to change the behaviour of ammunition and weapons when being dropped, or, mod that weapon used for melee in a way that it got a 1000 shot magazine which is refilling/recharging itself over time. Or, revert it until a better solution is found. This may lead to quite some server cluttering. -

Some simply don't get it. It's a !MOD! IN DEVELOPMENT! There are no patches that can make things worse or better, there are builds and hotfixes at maximum. Maybe some people should read this again and again: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_release_life_cycle Compare a mod in development with the birth of a child, it's there, it can nothing but cry, it grows up, becomes older, better, more wise and may turn to full age one day. Anyways, I miss a more strict banhammer. -

Suggestion for future testings regarding items that appear to be buggy, like tents: let everyone spawn with a tent and wipe placed ones out of the game with the next build. -

I can remember a thread were someone was complaining about the estimated 0.19% or something like that spawn chance for the real good things (depends on how someona values stuff). I'm sure rocket is giggling all the time when he's reading that people demand food and drinks and totally forgot about all the GEWD LEWTZ! they can get now. Sneaky something sometimes I assume. Pretty sure: a lot of people learned another lesson. -

How often are your camps raided?

I stumbled upon quite a few camps from time to time, always in the north. You can not really hide your stuff and be sure about, there will always be someone with boredom looking for a nice place to cook his meat and enjoy the sunset. These are the times when those people go deep into the woods, seeing tenst hidden somewhere and check if something useful is inside. Of course, many camps will be never found because of the server they are placed at is not that populated with people that are bored. -

Most FPS issues you experience are server related. But even that should be known by most playing people right now. And this will be fixed soon™ aswell.
