Lol I forgot I posted this, just came back and read it. Still amazing

Well he suggested it a couple times but in the end it was just mutually agreed not to, he had his usual group and I have mine, it was just a random occurence we were both on this server alone.

I've had many of crazy times just like most Day Z survivors, this one isn't really a standout but an interesting one nonetheless. After coming to the forums the other day I read a few posts about how "People can't be trusted" and all the typical stuff that goes along with it. It got me into the mood to play some Day Z and head down to the shore and help people who just spawned in. I was in Zelenagorsk church, had a Ghillie, My AK-47, medical stuff, a PP-Bizon SD, M9. Nothing too fancy, but it doesn't matter, after about 2-3 mins of roaming the town I decided to head South East to get to Cherno or thereabouts where all of a sudden out of nowhere, A car spawns 30 feet behind me and starts honking. Of course I knew I couldn't run and they were coming at me fast so I didn't wanna take the chance of getting run over while I d/c so I dodged the car. As it got closer I saw about 3 people in it, still honking trying to get my attention or something. I hear a guy on the mic say "Hey get in the... aww man" Right at that moment there was a massive server nuke that wiped out everyone playing on it (Was only about 23-24 people) about 12 people dropped, and I figured I'd head back to my body and re-collect my stuff before heading out. I respawned on the west side of Cherno at the shore. My thoughts were to get in and get out ASAP back to my body. Even with the dwindling number of players on the Server. I headed into the city and found myself infront of town hall, I quickly climbed up and found myself a Czech Backpack and not much else, I scampered down and over to the firestation where there were a couple of dead guys, one in a glitched standing position. I looted him for a M10 Shotgun and a Makarov as well as some Medical supplies and a bit of food. Made my way to the store and did a quick run for some supplies, not too soon after I started heading out Northwest out of Cherno. I got to the trainstation when all of a sudden I heard a vehicle and more honking. I thought to myself "Oh ima get these guys this time" thinking it was the car full of hackers before or whatever they were, I located the sound and went straight for it. It was actually an ATV, a guy in a ghillie suit picking up his friend and quickly heading off towards the apartments, Soon after I saw a heli flying North over the city, almost like the moment in the walking dead where you just look up and its there. I followed the ATV as quick I could when a single gunshot was heard in the distance. I decided to go investigate since it didn't matter if I died at this point or not, as I quickly approached the apartments I saw a fellow running with a crowd of zombies in tow. I was coming at an angle to his left, he spotted me and yelled out "FRIENDLY" I caught up next to him. "Please don't shoot me man" he said as we ran north up the hills and through some bushes and trees losing the zombies. After a quick chat we decided to head back into Cherno to the Firehouse, he said he had no weapon so I have him the Makarov I picked up earlier (Yeah in any other situation I'm just asking to be killed) he thanked me and we headed in. We took a brief moment to sweep the apartments and found nothing of any real use and then continued towards the firehouse. We get inside and the body I saw before had disappeared, he headed up the stairs and found an AK47 and came back down to me. He explained how he died at the NW Airfield when the hackers hit and wanted to head back there to reclaim his gear. As we were about to head out the backside of the station the familliar sound of a helicopter was quickly approaching us. It came in close and my newly found friend ran out yelling "FRIENDLY, FRIENDLY!" I followed him out as well, of course the helicopter came in closer and opened fire, missing us both completely as we bolted into the firehouse, it flew away but then turned around and came right back for us and hovered in such a way we could shoot it from the window. We opened fire and started firing on it, he returned the fire. the helicopter started smoking and it slammed down into the street just on the other side of the wall. We quickly got in there and raided the dead bodies, he picked up a M249 Saw and some other neat stuff, I picked up whatever was left and we headed back into the station. We chatted about the plan and he said he wanted to hang out a bit to see if people come to the site, I reluctantly agreed and not too soon after heard a motor pulling up pretty close, I told him as quietly as I could and decided to head out and investigate, I went west around a few buildings to where I heard the car when all of a sudden a bandit pops out from behind the wall and unloads his magazine into me. My buddy runs over and tries to tell me something but I already went to the respawn screen, after a quick spawn in Elektro that resulted in me getting shot in the tower of the firehouse, I spawned in Balota and started sprinting back to Cherno to get back to my body for the gear, I decided to call it quits on Zelenagorsk because I was almost done with playing Day Z for the night. Not too soon after I arrived back in Cherno I heard gunshots ring out again and decided to take a sneakier approach as not to get shot up by a bandit again. I found myway back to the firehouse which was now in ruins, the helicopter completely gone and no sign of my newfound friend anywhere in sight, I made a dash to my body and heard more shots relatively close by, I got my gear and was about to sign off when I heard the dude from before, he found me. At this point there was only 2 people on the server (Him and I) and we decided to go get his stuff, we headed North out of Cherno and quickly found a nice tent loaded with really good gear (2 Ghillies a M4A1 CCO SD, Ammo, Coyote Back pack etc.) but decided the trip back to his body was still for the best. Not too much happened on the trip, we arrived at the airfield and located his body swiftly, he got some of his gear and left me the rest. I wound up with GPS, a M249 for my friend, a bunch of neat things. We both said our goodbyes and wished eachother luck in future journeys. Knowing we never will but saying it'd be cool to meet up again. He signed off and I did as well after re-locating to a more safer place.... All in all it was a neat experience, not the best but not the worst, I know it was probably a long winded story but for any of you that read it and enjoy it, then yeah.. here you go, might post more or less if anything interesting happens.
