Well technically they're still humans. That means all these could actually apply since they have a brain. If you want to get really realistic, pretty much every zed in Chernarus'd be dead by now because most of them haven't had a human to eat....

You could try after dying, pressing Respawn instead of Abort.

Wouldn't irradiated infected die, also? They're not actual zombies, so if they're still living, somewhat normal human beings, no zeds - or infected - would be present. But if you had like workers spawn in Hazmat suits, who were protected from radiation, that would be cool.
