Yeah I actually thought it'd be the other way round if i'm honest. Cheaper servers during alpha/beta due to the fact that bugs will be present in the game, affecting your overall experience. Then when everything's ironed out increased the price.

I like the idea that smaller items should take less space but I think dividing the segments up even more might make it a bit over the top. What you could do is like stack smaller items like stack 4 pens, so yes one pen will take up a whole square but you can add 3 pens to it. Same with bandages, batteries etc.

I usuall play the game with just one friend so I would benefit from this idea. I think you'd get too many 'groups/clans' spawning together though which probably wouldn't be a great idea. Still, I like the idea if it was limited to one or two people!

Can we all get something straight? They've sold 20 million dollars worth of units(the game). I'm pretty sure that doesn't immediately equate into profit...

The thing is (and I don't know a lot about game engines to forgive me if I'm wrong) Does DayZ render the whole thing? or is it done in quadrants or setions? Because if it's done in sections then it's hard to compare to other games

The term 'DMR' is way to broad. Certain DMR's are perhaps a bit too much for DayZ, MK12 and EBR varients being some of them. but I think the M14 has it's place in the game, whether it has iron sights are a long range scope.

Mate, the irony of you telling him to not give computer advice.... A power supply is not just about wattage but quality of power. A cheap knock off 600w power supply would probably output LESS power than a 500w supply made from a quality brand. Or atleast the power would be much less 'clean'.Please don't talk computers again, thanks

You have some good points about this game but some pretty ignorant ones too. What a lot of people don't realise is there is a whole birth of games out there waiting to be played, don't get so caught up on DayZ if it's not living up to your expectations. My advice would be play another game for a while and pop back here in 6 months and hopefully your opinion might have changed. Either way, don't lose sleep with this game's current build, I imagine a lot will change/be added in.

My personal knowledge which may well be out of date is that I could get it turned on and a cooking pot on top of it but couldn't cook anything. Might well have changed since then I don't know man

What power supply do you have? I see 90% of people post these upgrade threads without mentioning their power supply (and not just the wattage but the quality/brand of it) The same with your memory, what make/speed is it? The reason why I ask about yoru power supply is because if you upgrade your graphics card that is quite power intensive then you might need to upgrade your power unit.

I like the fact that you've proposed a lengthy in depth-idea, we need more people doing this, however I'm not really a big fan of most of it. The only bit I think would work is the gaining of muscle mass to carry heavier equipment. the additon of protein shakes and constructable gyms would be (like you said) far fetched. But either way this is just my opinion, beans for the detail behind your idea man

The game is like a good wine, the older it gets the better. This is purely a foundation and will only get better and better surely?

It's gotta be the mosin for sure, thing looks cool as fuck, they've done such a good job on the modelling of the gun! Big fan of the 3.5x scope aswell
