remember that arma has a really bad death animation, in SA ragdoll is being implemented and 2 bullets will kill, right now there is lag before the person actually drops.

Put a piece of lead through their skull and then ask them if they are friendly.

In the game now, there are people that do it right. I have practiced for hours, hitting moving targets and standing at many ranges with every weapon in the key spots. If the contact is facing you, one bullet through the mouth is the best way to do it. If to the side, center of the ear, if to the rear, base of the skull. Learn how to take these shots, and you will be able to kill much more effiencly and quickly. Stick to cover, check corners, if in a team, need overwatch and men sweeping. Also, how do you move? It isn't very common to catch a bullet to the brain, even while standing still, unless they are set up to take the shot. You might be being engaged by short range by suppressed weapons and you die before you hear anything. Reply back or message me, i'd gladly give tips.

My personal best kill is actually a couple of kills, it isnt a spectacular firefight or a chopper quad kill, its a planned assault from unpleasant conditions. For the first time ever in Day Z, i was taken hostage. They were leading me to cherno to let me go after stripping me of everything, I dropped all my tools to make it believable. I feel they were people who never killed before in the game, as they kept saying sorry and refused to just off me. 5 of them armed with moderate to high weapons, 1 had a AKM, 1 with what i thought was a lee enfield, 2 had M4 CCOs not silenced and the last had a MP5SD. They said they would lead me to cherno and let me go, but I am a killer, I don't let punks like this go. I kept my GPS and map and they had no clue I had them, after about 10 minutes I said I had to use the restroom for a minute. Called up 2 of my buddies on skype and started to stage an ambush. We decided to ambush them at the water pump in Pusta, as we were headed straight to cherno from solnich. 1 of my mates was packing a AS50 and sat up on the hill towards cherno in Pusta overlooking the whole town. The other had a bizon SD. We were about 400 m away from Pusta when my mates were ready to roll, I stopped the group that had me hostage and told them to turn on their flashlights to scare away anyone in the town. Like idiots, they all put away their weapons and got out their flash lights. We got to the water pump and said my water was blinking, one guy went to fill up his bottle. 2 seconds later his head exploded from an AS50 round, my mate with the bizon came over direct chat seconds later, "You will all die unless you drop your weapons on the ground and face each other in front of the pump. The leader of my kidnappers came over direct saying okay okay and they dropped their guns in a pile. I strolled over to the gun pile and picked up one of their M4s. Last thing they all heard that life was, "Learn to shoot people, or you will be shot yourself". Flipped on full auto and killed them all, not a single bandit kill. Moral of the story, kill people don't let them go. also share your best kill(s), I love reading stuff like that on these forums!

Pretty sure if a server has command chat on it you can get player coords.

Best - In a massive firefight with an unkown number of hostiles at the North East airfield, 4 friendly squad mates and 2 snipers under heavy fire from hangars. After 9 kills between us we got hit by a rocket launcher, I did not die though, seconds later I caught a M16 to the head. Worst - Just found my first car, TPed to thunderdome and then killed.

Post your highest murders/bandit kills here, either screenshot or just telling us. Didn't get a screenshot of my highest, Murders - 47 Bandit kills - 13 I'd say this was about 40-60 hours of gameplay.

The problem with people calling this a CoD/BF-Esque deathmatch scenario because no one helps each other, is this is far more than CoD/BF. I've always wanted a game with a free world, you have to survive, you have to hunt and kill other players(that is what i do anyway). And that is what alot of other people like. I travel in a group of 8 people, - 1 Sniper - 1 Spotter - 2 Assault Infrantry(M4A1 CCO each) - 1 Medic - 2 Machine gunner(One has M249, other has MK) - 1 Squad leader We work together and treat the entire game as a tactical enviroment, anything we see is a threat, and that is fun for us. People like us don't travel the coast, except for those AS50 chern camping faggots that kill noobs and don't take any gear. Now by being a force that kills anything, doesn't mean we are like the other 99.99% of bandits who just kill people and get rid of the stuff. Ours cars and tents are rarely full as we drop weapons/gear outside of cherno and elektro, for the sole reason we kill, to have fun. People with more gear = a better firefight and that is more fun. Find what ever is fun for you and work with it, but honestly living as a don't shoot anyone type person in this mod and soon to be game, just is plain stupid. Yeah there is that off person who won't pop a cap in your ass, but 9 times out of 10 you will be shot before you even see them for a second. If you want to be a nice person in the game, drop gear/weapons by noob spawns or in cherno, provide a taxi service. A taxi service is something we do on servers with a global chat, we do it very securely though, our taxi car is our GAZ. In front of the GAZ is a motorcycle that always stays in front of the car, behind the GAZ we have civ ural with 4 of our guys in it. Behind that is our military offroad that can stop the GAZ if it gets hijacked. So far we have had 3 people out of i'd say 20+ try to turn on us, and they got bullets in the head before they could even off the guy in the GAZ.

Actually not, I don't play by the, if you shoot on sight you are an asshole mentality. It is called playing to win broski.

If you don't shoot on sight you are an idiot, the fun in the game is killing. I don't care if its a fully loaded ural with everyone armed to the teeth or a lone man 1 k away. I hunt everything, and everything must die. I said "friendly" once, the person believed me. I cured their stupidity with a bullet to the head, it worked.
