540m is just too weak... sorry. Lowering distance wont help as it is preset by DayZ (therefore changing it in options wont have any effect) Edit: but you can at least try to switch the "memory size" in details menu to "default", it may help, if you didnt already do so.

Damn, i have just downloaded the beta patch and now im getting the "You are not able to run/modify this mission" error. Does anyone else has this problem? Edit: ha, found the source of the problem - i edited the wrong shortcut :)

Well, i logged yesterday for first time and it was very dark, yet i found it quite realistic as this is exactly what i see at moonless nights IRL :) -
Building barricading, power generators, radio stations etc. However i dont know what ArmA engine allows or where exactly are its limits, so i admit it might be useless :)

You are correct, however i didnt mean direct copypasta transcription of features (that of course wouldnt be possible). I posted it for inspiration just in case someone (eg. Rocket :)) wouldnt be aware of it...
