Aye, this is my point basically. It should be totally removed and not be a part of Day Z, at all. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Rocket wanted to create frustration with the players of Day Z, not relief! :)
After 20 minutes of pure frustration and anger at myself for getting lost during a session with some pals, I went to a server that let me place waypoint on the map so I could hop back to them faster. But then after feeling a bit guilty for using fast-travel, I started to understand what a great feeling it [really] is to be off the grid in Day Z. No other game has given me this feeling. I hope this function is removed completely, or that it could be possible only once a GPS is in inventory.
The major fps issue just occured for me. First time so far. Nvidia 560Ti Server was Norway 1 It happened today; I respawned in the server after last nights action. The fps was all nice as before, until I respawned at the beach after major bloodloss. From then on it was 5fps. I checked my gpu observer logs, and it showed the gpu working at 10% after the respawn, while before the respawn it was normally at 80%+. It seems the cpu becomes forced to do all the work.
