When the game is released, we will probably keep paying for our server as its fairly popular, we will still play the standalone. If it lives up to the hype, and we are allowed to host as a community, then we will probably switch over, if the mod remains more popular we will probably stick to the mod though.

Yes, ghillie is obvious perceived as a 'don't see me' item, why would you be worried about being seen if your friendly? in case others shoot you? that's dayz. Clearly even heroes carry weapons, weapons that lethal to every player, and if you can shoot me I would rather you be dead.

Its not bannable, about 70% of the dayz sniper population do it..

Hello DayZ Developers! Recently we have had an abundance of hackers, spawning buildings and other such illegal things all over the server. We figured our service provider (GamingDeluxe) would be able to wipe our managed server, so these building were gone, as they don't disappear after a restart and we don't want to risk our CD-keys trying to hack the buildings away. We contacted them, and got the following reply: Given this response, how would we go about requesting a server-wipe from the hive?

Then its probably worth banning and checking the other logs for his name, see what he was doing at the time of incident, the remoteexec log is only suppose to be scripts run remotely by players, but there are some legit lines. I've never known compile to be legit.

Would need more lines if there are any more of that person to determine if it was him, one line doesn't seem enough compared to the amount of lines we get from a hacker.

Compiling is always abit dodgy in my experience, PS: remove the GUID aswell

To fix the chopper in the ocean try the following: Break your legs (have a friend shoot you) Crawl out to the sunk chopper, get in the pilot seat and blow it up, somehow, try everything! Crawl back out to the exploding chopper and save it. Next restart it should be fixed. ------ We had the .RPT file spam before, with a tss650 bike, its SO ANNOYING! our RPt file was like 900mb big..

You are looking for files under the control panel, located in the Dayzcfg folder. Important file = .RPT log, found in the dayzcfg folder. Other files are creatvehicle.log, script.log, remoteexec.log -found in the battleeye folder inside the dayzcfg folder. Download these files and open them with something like Notepad++

At the moment we currently pay £20 (32$) for our 42slot server, and that's at a discount cause we have a dedi-box with the same company. so i guess around 35/40$ is the norm for the minimum dayz server.
