We want to play in daylight when we come home from the office. Most people play between 19:00 - 01:00 hours GMT+1. Can you please change the time of one of our servers (i believe this is the only way which is allowed at the moment?, we don`t have RDP, only web - ftp access). 10+ for Vilayer support (Thanks Lee!) for helping me with multiple problems on a fekking Sunday lol ! Try these guys, great prices and support! I think support is overloaded with all kinds of requests DeathFX, i logged in Sunday morning around 10 am GMT+1. I was able to speak to support within 1 hour. Later that day i needed them again (my screwup :)), again with 1.5 hours i was helped (Keep the chat-box open, i closed it several times..). Then...(LOL) around midnight, i needed them again (again my screwup) and noticed the Help-window was no longer available (but it was around 22:30 hours). So all day support on a Sunday, not bad! There`s only so much a human can do at once :) I don`t work for them btw, i got their name from a friend also hosting with them. Just sharing my experience with them. Thank you Lee & Vilayer!

Pff..what a thread. So a server-admin can enforce a certain language on his server, say English.. and kick (not ban) people if they keep speaking a different language in chat?

Krakkenbus is a good guy, he just got his server, it has been full all the time, he`s probably playing around with stuff (trust me, he`s not a person who would lock the server so he can run around and loot stuff). BTW Wüstenfuchs, about the wrong server-name, my server (Dayz NL 13, online today) has a similar name? Do i need to correct it? If so, should i name it like the other servers, except the NL 13? Thanks. //Never mind, found your topic (Server Naming). I will change it when i get home Wüstenfuchs.

Dear all, So i rented a DAYZ Server on sunday, it`s working great. So i figured out how the config files kinda work. I can set the server name (which i did), i can set a MOTD, login as admin on my server while ingame, changed server to Veteran, disabled some options like name-tags etc. I do have a few questions, either my eyes, or google failed on me : 1) Configure a max ping on the server (say 150 ms) to prevent people from Antaritica ^^ connecting to my server (i want to use the cfg files as much as i can). 2) Configure "Reverse Timezone" in the server.cfg? People here in Europe want to play in day light when they get home from work. 3) A person from DAYZ DEV team told me there`s a Server-Admin channel on IRC, i found the channel but it`s passworded (Can someone PM me the password, or give me a name so i can bug this person? :) 4) Same for the Server-Admin google group? I have more questions / problems but trying to figure them as we speak :) Thanks in advance for any replies!

I can`t play like this, backstabbing people like that :) I try to help people i come across but most people just kill you ^^. I just move on and the next time i still do the same - Help people (and I probably get killed again). So many ways to play this game, this seems to be my way :)
