    Greetings!

    Righto guys we are running 300+ vehicles on the server this includes...

    5 C1-30

    8 Hueys

    5 Littlebirds

    8 Biplanes

    so there is plenty of helis and most groups will get one...

    all the Road vehicles are spawning correctly now as well.

    so there is 300+...

    URALS - 3 types

    Civilian - red golfs - pick up trucks - normal 4 doors

    Motorcycles - 2 types

    UAZ - SUV - etc

    plus all the original cars buses vans police cars etc etc etc

    Remember we are whitelisted to stop cheaters!

    Buy Arma2 its not like its expensive and without Dayz it is a worthy addition to any games collection...

    you wont be dissapointed... and your money will go towards anything dayz related anyway...

    Standalone dayz is months away, as by the looks of it Arma3...

    Hey,

    I have had a vilayer server for over 6 months... never had any really serious problems with it at all..

    some people moan alot about there support, but if you read up enough on what to do and what not to do, there can be very little downtime..

    they provide private hive (more players on this now than the official hive) and ofcourse official server...

    Now i will say one thing... i had an official server for 5 months... in the end i gave up and went to a private hive server (vilayer package) due to little or no support at all from dayz - regarding the hacking,scripting,cant ban cant kick - cant password the server etc etc..

    Now on my private hive server from vilayer i can choose what maps i want to play, cherno-panthera-lingor-namalsk to name a few, edit settings on the server you cant with an official one and make it password to join... so you can just have your own members playing there ...

    Teamspeak.. they also do these and mumble afaik... our teamspeak is down atm along with the vilayer support one due to a license problem as far as im aware... this has been the only problem i have ever had in all time i have had my game server and voice server..

    Im sure other will be along to tell you of there terrible adventures with Vilayer... but from me i have nothing but good words for there service..

    Hi guys,

    we had a few of our regulars come across and start suffering with the same problem, we were told it was everything to do with there broadband lines... after a lot of digging and testing someone i know came across this and passed it onto our community page.

    This is not my fix, it may not work, it worked for our regulars (7 of them) please dont hold me responsible if it breaks something and you have to re-instal everything again! you can try it though.. i hope it works for you!

    So in case anyone you know has a similar issue, they can add a line to their Arma .cfg files with the appropriate MTU size for their connection as follows:

    class sockets{maxPacketSize = 1490;};

    Where 1490 is the default. After some force packet sized ping testing we found my friend needed around 944 as his value. Still not 100% this is fixed of course but since the change (and with a couple of hours playtime on random servers under our belt)

    I swear to god, this mod will rock ass harder if all of these maps are combined together. And to save performance, you'll need to load into the next map when you reach the edge of the previous map, like a road or something that asks "Go to x map? Yes or No". Kinda like an instance but not really. That would be great for a stand-alone. Kinda like a huge MMO. And then tweak it by adding more content, more uniforms, guns, vehicles so that there is a lot of stuff to do. Cuz Dayz has gotten boring now, but these new maps seem fun. But the down side is that the character stats will only save for that one map.

    And people will leave WoW and GW2 for this bitch in a heart beat.

    More like 50% off to get some of the customers back they lost with all the stealing and theft from the arma community more like.

    i have had a server 6 month + and if there has ever been a problem Lee and the guys have sorted it quick time..

    I have rented game servers for years and Vilayer have surpassed every other company..
