Hey Aimfull, Yeah thanks for letting me know i do appreciate it... it was me you spoke to on our teamspeak and your friend also came on after you to tell us about it as well.. trouble is, i know these camps are there.. there are 2 more camps as well that have tents full of hacked in gear... while i can check logs etc like i do everyday to find the people spawning weapon crates in, (these get perm banned as soon as i find them) unfortunately this does not rid the server of the weapons... as dayz have said there can be no bans for using hacked guns.. there are a few people on our server that use them... seen them myself... allways hide the bodies with the hacked guns is the best way forward... also now the tents should save correctly, we will be going to these places and emptying them and saving the,, hopefully should get rid of them... we also asked to have our server wiped and start a fresh but this has fallen on deaf ears so does not look like it is going to happen... all we can do is wait for standalone dayz, this should not be a problem then... thanks again.. been atleast 5 days worth of these new bypass/hacks... nothing in any of the logs and battleye not catching anything as usual..

I asked them about this as well, i was told dayz chernarus and dayz lingor island are different game types, meaning i couldnt have my server which i have had for months changed to lingor and vice versa... now on there site they claim "they" have fixed issues with tents choppers etc etc on there own.. you cant change your old server to lingor island... but you can now rent a new server that you can just switch to either map whenever you feel like it... dont understand... its only a map...

Hi if this is the case why are you now offering new customers Both maps on ther server, with a automated process to change the map on your server? i dont see the option on my server to do this via an automated option.

exit STEAM start STEAM via "run as administrator" run once ARMA 2, exit it run once OA, exit it now goto OA folder (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\STEAM\STTEAMapps\Common\ARMA 2 Operation Arrowhead\PMC\ erase that folder (or it's content) then run PMC from the STEAM's games list you should see installer doing some file operations if you have BAF, do the same with BAF and that's it, the only issue is when there are some keys not written hence why i always recommend use the context menu option "run as administrator" to start STEAM install dayz install arma2beta

goto steam library and double click ARMA2: Operation Arrowhead

no me either, Its outrageous really, this dont look like a good start if they now have the hive and the first thing they do is this... DayZ and Lingor Island are different game services apparently... thats funny its just a map for a "mod" i read over and over

wow i cant believe to have lingor island you have to rent a new server.. i thought it was just a map for DayZ

1 chopper per server, spawns at the same place EVERY time it spawns.. Will not save so when you have repaired it and flown off the island, whenever the server restarts it will de-spawn, then respawn back on the island 24 hours later needing to be fixed again..

to be fair i have my server months with Vilayer.. i have only had 1 problem and that was my own fault when i first got the server... it was fixed in 20 minutes after raising one ticket and speaking to Lee on Teamspeak.. Half of these "problems" that seem to moaned about on here im sure come from people messing with things they shouldnt!! They are a great provider and i am thinking about getting another running Lingor Island from the email i recieved yesterday...

Hey, Best advice is to read the sticky threads on this forum by the mods regarding having a server, i'll tell you now though to do it properly and keep a check on the logs you have to do it daily and learn about all the different stuff that is illegal and hacks etc... you are limited to what you can and cant do and what you can and cant ban for... you wont find all the answers on here but im sure some more folk wwill be along with there advice... also if you do get a server make sure you sign up here .. http://dayz.io/adminZ/ you will find alot of help there on running your server, alot more than on here sadly.. good luck

Agreed my server with them runs brilliant 24/7 with 40 people on it most of the time peak hours... australian internet fail more likely as stated raise a ticket they will look into it for you...
