Regular and hardcore are two separate hives so you will have a different character on each.

Put simply, the renderer is the software that converts all the data in your game files to an actual image on your screen, Dayz currently uses DX9 which is outdated nowadays, changing to newer renderers such as DX11 or OpenGL can allow greater detail and and more dynamic lighting (we could even see a day when flashlights dont shine through walls) and maybe even better performance. From what Rocket has said it sounds like a huge time consuming job swapping the renderer so i doubt they would even bother if they weren't expecting some big improvements.

The mod and the standalone are completely separate games with separate servers.

If it happens again try Flushing your memory Hold left shift and press numpad - then type flush usually sorts it out.

Its a regular bug. The zeds at the minute are pretty much placeholders, they have a new team working at completely redoing the zombie Ai.

I'd definitely play on a hive that just threw you in a random server when you die, would never work for the majority though, Maybe it could be the difference that really separates the regular and hardcore servers. or just a separate "super" Hardcore hive.

I would of done the same, but that still wouldn't make him a bandit. Maybe just someone who's too stubborn to allow someone else to order him around. Despite you telling him you were friendly, seems like you were the ones being aggressive.

Having a game force emotions is far from realistic, Having situations in the game cause real emotions for the player should be the goal.

7fps does seem unusually low for that system, have you tried just running one 7770? Running in crossfire may be causing an issue.

Make a report on the bugtracker http://feedback.dayzgame.com/view_all_bug_page.php Make sure to title it something like "Character stuck, Can't respawn" And support should be able to reset your character.

Agreed, its never made much sense to have the map only in english, having just cyrillic would be more authentic but i think having both on the map would work out best otherwise we'll forever have people calling Kamyshovo Kambiwobo.

Its pretty simple, adding private hives does not assist the development of the game, so it is lower in their list of priorities.

Try just removing the entire folder and restarting the game, the contents should then be remade by the game. -
Just looks like whoever cropped the image left something in from the background.

You are in the debug plains which border the northern and western edges of the map, best thing to do is head for the sun and you should see trees again eventually.

Try the run jump trick while on high ping servers and run extra programs/shit load of browser tabs in the background to put your cpu under heavy load, with luck that'll cause enough dsync to get you out.
