One weird trick to avoid upcoming character wipe

There is one way, just never join a server after the wipe, you'll be able to admire your character in the main menu for eternity. -

Just hold the wrap in your hands, look at some grass and you'll get the option to add grass to the wrap

Ah, didn't realise it came with a headset, expected it to be an optional extra.

Be interesting to see what communicating with other players will be like on console, can't imagine many will have a microphone or a keyboard. That alone could drastically alter how the game plays.

Don't like how loose the wrap is around the gun, would prefer it more like this so the iron sights can still be used As it is it just looks like it would fall off pretty easily as you were running around.

Have you made a report on the feedback tracker? Its very possible thats its just a fault with the software so nothing you can do will fix it, you'll need to send the crash report to the devs so they can sort it http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/186540-my-dayz-crashed-what-do-i-do/ -
Luckily this is a case of a console version being made along side a (prioritised) PC version. not just a straight up port.

Don't get me wrong, current movement in dayz needs a lot of work buts its clear that they are aiming for a system that more weight than the average FPS. By the way, shift works just fine for me, have you reset your controls to default? If you haven't reassigned run to double w then it shouldn't work at all with the new controls. -

Its not hard at all, the slower more realistic movement in dayz is a design decision. Changing to a more fluid CS:GO style movement would ruin a large part of the game for me. -
He simply said that DayZ had come from nothing to being announced for PS4 in under 3 years. Not "the PS4 version will be out in under 3 years". They haven't given any indication of when they expect the version for other platforms to be out,

PS4 is just the first to be announced, wouldn't be surprised if it comes to the Xbone too.

He doesn't mention the network bubble at all, no idea where you got that from, The network bubble was planned and worked on long before release and i've seen nothing to suggest its implementation had anything to do with going multiplatform. He mentions two features, 64bit servers and the new renderer, While it is true that both should help improve performance, there would of still been optimisation done even if they were never considered. Boney..!!? you can time travel??.. Guess i better put something here on topic, If its going to be a straight up port i'll be worried. If its a case of remaking the game for console after the PC version is complete and pinky promise to not compromise the PC version in any way then its all cool. Right now though, we just don't know.
