  5. You've missed the point of the poll. The aim was to see if there was any truth in the claims that forcing FPV only would greatly effect sales of the standalone. I do agree that the poll is flawed however as it relies on the voters honesty, Any TPV fans voting that they would still buy the game are just shooting themselves in the foot and so no doubt some will vote for option 2 to back their preference.

    Didn't vote because you don't have an option for killing in self defense, but yes i do tend to loot any bodies i come across and then give them a nice burial.

    Agreed, The whole system is flawed and is only any use as a rough guide to whether someone might shoot you in the face for no reason. trusting someone just because they have a hero skin is foolish, making it even easier to get the hero skin in the first place would just make it even worse. Quite looking to forward playing the standalone with no humanity system. judge people by their actions and how they react to you.

    If you made it any easier to get the hero skin it would totally devalue the whole system. The fact that its not so easy to get the hero skin makes it worth more. This is all kinda irrelevant as the standalone wont be having a humanity system or hero/bandit skins, at least to start with.

    Also you can only pack a tent that you have pitched, and if you die the tent is no longer classed as yours so cannot be packed.

    The new changelog

    I believe there was an issue where even if you were lucky enough to cure infection by resting the save wouldn't change after relogging, this has been fixed. Rest will still only give a low chance of a cure.

    New deciding factor of bandit and hero skins.

    All you will achieve with this is promoting even more of a team deathmatch mentality, Instead of red vs blue its hero vs bandit. You will also have more bandits getting the hero skin simply because they are successful at killing other bandits while pvp'ing on the coast. Not in vanilla dayz.

  19. I would add that having a full range of stances available like in arma 3 would add a lot to the first person experience.
  20. I don't go looking for pvp but i do greatly prefer first person. the same as others who have already posted in this thread.
  21. Has this changed over time or there is still the fact, that you'll have to change it from 3rd to 1st in the menu if you'd like to go in-to scope or you'll just right-click for it? I hope answer I am looking is not off-topic. Thanks. Don't know for sure but recent videos have shown the ability to swap from third to first person instantly without going to the option menu so i'm guessing that idea was scrapped, or maybe just put on hold. There's been no crosshairs on recent videos.
  22. The quantity of loot you see in the videos shown does not represent the amount of loot you will find when the game is released, they increase it just for the purpose of allowing quick and easy testing in an enviroment where people will only have about ten minutes to try the game.
  23. Its not so much dog eat dog as harsh reality, at those heights just getting your own body back is a major challenge, never mind trying to carry someone who is already as good as dead.     Dropping Garbage After Healing

    I like it, Rocket has said in the past he wants to add systems that allow you to track people, we already have empty tin cans so hopefully this is on the cards too.
